Great small bowl

We love these bowls. They are the perfect size for sides, fruit, vegetables, small servings of ice cream, cereal, etc. for anyone else wondering, other websites have a “rice bowl”. Both say they are about 5” diameter, and while they are - they are very different bowls. The fruit bowl is definitely more of a “side bowl”. The rice bowl is a very deep bowl for soup, cereal, rice, etc.

Perfect for Fruit, Ice Cream, and Cooking

We like the Anmut collection so much that we use it everyday. In particular, the Fruit Dish is perfect for small portions of all kinds of fruit. We also use it to serve ice cream with various toppings. Lastly, when cooking and prepping the main meal of the day, we use the bowls to hold individual ingredients that we mix into the main meal, such as chopped onions, peppers, garlic, various other vegetables, etc.). It makes cooking so much easier to add these measured out ingredients when they're organized in small bowls like the Anmut Fruit Dish.

Needing some small bowls I purchased these. They are beautiful , elegant and perfect in size for dessert, cereal, cooked eggs and a multitude of many other uses. The shape is perfect, and the white color compliments any china be it everyday or special event. I love them !

Best value anywhere- highly recommend

Bought this from Macy's in 2016- Anmut Villeroy Boch is beautiful, feels good to hand, distinctive while still traditional, and holds up after repeated dishwasher use. After four years I take delight in it every day when setting the table.

This is a great little bowl, perfect size for fruit, dipping sauces, etc. it has a very nice quality feel about it. I use it daily and it matches my other Villeroy and Bosh dinnerware.

Perfect size

These bowls are the perfect size for a small side salad, dessert, or other item. Classic white, they go with almost every place setting.

Small elegant bowls

These are a delight to use.. I have used them for yogurt, lentils, ice cream and to serve condiments. absolutely love them. Ordered 6, but will get more.

Thrilled with my Anut china purchase.

Ordered 6 place settings, minus the cups and saucers. Beautiful, sturdy, and a nice weight. Used the free ground shipping, which took a week to travel cross-country, and the box was pretty torn up.... but the china was completely perfect due to the good packing.

beautiful and durable

I've owned my Anmut dishes for 4 years and they're as beautiful today as the day they arrived. Not a single dish has chipped or cracked. I wanted one set of dishes that would work for both everyday use and for special occasions and Anmut has fit the bill perfectly. These dishes look fantastic on my table at Thanksgiving and they work great for a weekday breakfast. Because they're white they go with everything, so I can pick any tablecloth, serving dishes, napkins or other table accessories I want to fit the occasion and I know it will look great with my dishes. They wash up well in the dishwasher, they're thin and light so they're easy to load and unload from the dishwasher. They stack well so they fit in my cupboard easily. I cannot recommend these dishes highly enough. I'm in my 30s, my mother, in her late 60s, recently told me that she wishes she'd picked these dishes when she got married because if she had she'd still be using them today. Instead she's been through many different sets of dishes in her lifetime, including some other dishes from Villeroy & Boch which have served her well but aren't as durable as the bone china these Anmut dishes are made with.

Love the Anmut collection; very classy and yet graceful design. The fruit dish is a great size for ice-cream, applesauce, etc. I also use it quite often for breakfast.

Lovely, dainty bowl

This is a very beautiful bowl. It has an ideal shape and it's very well made. It's a little smaller than I was expecting, but I'm very happy with it.

Classic Simple Elegance

Villeroy & Boch's Anmut is a classic white bone china. Simple, very elegant,Light weight but strong without being too thick and clunky like some other china. Another plus is the color of the white there is just the right hint of warmth to the white of V&B's bone china is a softer white. but still white. Spode is a little too cold (slightly bluish by comparison), some brands have a slightly grey effect, and others are a bit too warm (almost a yellow cast to the color).I'm replacing a Lenox set and just the feel of this V&B china feels much nicer to me there is a smoothness thats hard to describe but its felt when you touch them and when these are held up to the light there's a slight translucency like the older high quality china.

This is the perfect size dish for salads, soup, ice cream. Furthermore, it is beautiful and elegant with a lovely finish. It is also practical as it's dishwasher safe and microwave safe.

Stunning in its pure perfection

I have always loved Villeroy & Boch; I was born and raised in Berlin/Germany, and a visit to the V & B store was always one of my weekend highlights.

Absolutely gorgeous

I ordered several pieces of Villeroy & Boch's Anmut (means Grace) Dinnerware collection when I moved into my new place. The bone china is exquisite, and I absolutely love using the plates, bowls, and mugs.
