Great replacement for Redlink system

If you have a red link system for your heating and cooling this is the replacement that works. I was glad I could find one because my system is 10 years old.

Does what it's supposed to.

Works as advertised. Hooks up well with the THM4000R1000 receiving unit and the HZ432 control panel. Note, you can use more than one of these thermostats with just one THM4000R1000 receiving unit. My only complaint (minor) is that it would be nice if the batteries lasted a little longer.

I can manage my home temperature away from home

Great and simple. The only minor problem: the App ask me for the password every time I want to use it.

Geofencing not available with this product?

With this product the app is not showing me the automation section which allows you to set up geofencing. It alerts me that I’ve crossed the boundary and don’t have set back settings in place but lacks the section to do so.

Fair product, but nothing special

Would be better if you could program from the App and set temperature alerts.

The thermostat is not new. I am the new owner of the home, and was unable to connect it to WiFi. Your representative was very patient and capable, and helped me. The thermostat works fine.

The thermistar was installed in our house when we bought it. After living in it for a year I finally took the time to figure out how to hook it up to our wifi. It is so handy to be able to control and monitor the thermistat remotely. I love it.

Seek an alternative

There are much better alternatives on the market. I replaced this after I bought a house that came with this.

Meh, I wouldn’t buy one

I did not buy this product new. The house I bought had one. 4 days after I reprogrammed the thermostat, it stopped working. Unfortunately, this was the coldest night of the year. At least I was able to use it as a smart device for a few days before it failed.
