Replaced an existing timer that failed!

Product is as advertised. Easy installation and works properly. I bought this unit to replace the original timer. It looks to be exactly the same model. The original only lasted 4 years so hopefully this one will last longer. I am rating it 4 stars because the original one I had did not last very long.

This worked perfect. When my fan kept turning off I called my installer and he said he knew immediately that it was the timer switch. He said he had to charge $250 to install or I could get it from HD and install it in about 10 minutes. It was easy to install and now works great.

The QuietCool Countdown Timer works as advertised. However, the last one installed only operated for a few years so only time will tell if this one will last longer than its predecessor

If your Quiet Cool WH fan starts to shut off too soon or immediately, it is likely a timer issue. Bought this exact replacement which was easy to install (just twist same color wires together) and now it works like new. Timer warranty for 1 year and our previous one lasted 4 years.

I was looking forward to installing this with a whole house fan but discovered that I needed at least 1,000 square feet in the attic, which I don't have because of too many vaulted ceilings. I now know that's one drawback for vaults. The one-star review isn't for this product, it's hopefully to save someone time that doesn't have a large enough attic.

This timer makes using our new whole house fan super convenient. Love that you can just punch in the desired length of time the fan will run, and it will turn off at the end automatically. No more getting up in the middle of the night to turn it off.

This was an easy replacement from what could’ve been a $200 diagnosis and arrival fee plus $100.00 mark up for this item and another $100.00 for instal from an HVAC repair person but instead it was $35 and 10 minutes of my time and now it works perfect as it did 😄once again.
