Would buy again, great for crafting

I love the design and height. It was relatively easy to put together, I put the cubbies facing in on the shorter side so I can put another organizer/desk right up against it and all my supplies are right under my chair.

Extremely poor quality

Bought this for my little girls room as it had storage within the desk and we’re very disappointed. The quality is awful we had to use clamps and our own 3inch long screws just to have it stable to use. The cam screws supplied lifted out of the wood when tightened and there with gaps when fully connected. The desk was not stable at all and there was a huge amount of movement using the supplied screws and plugs so extra screws were essential on every join so it wouldn’t fall apart. Not worth the money paid at all.

AVOID BUYING!!!!!

This is by far the cheapest made piece of furniture I have ever dealt with!!!!! The hardware feels like it has a plastic fill in it,the holes for the cam screws are way too small for the thread,the thread is very shallow and the holes are way too deep and when the cams try to “catch” it pulls it right out of the wood!!!! Very cheesy product and just wasted $130 on it!!! The kicker is I can’t even return it for a refund because the box was SO badly damaged it didn’t even have the hardware in it(the company had to send that to me separate) the WORST item I have EVER purchased!!!!! Live and learn!!!! I do regret this one!!!!

Keep scrolling, big headache and small shelf

I bought this for my craft room thinking it would be perfect for storage of vinyl and give me some work space to work on the random crafts I enjoy. This was not worth the "deal" I thought I was getting at Wal-Mart. if you've ever put together an Ikea shelf, imagine that but worse. there's glue and dowels and wretched cam-lock inserts that don't always fit right. it took my husband and I forever to get the dang thing together. The first attempt ended up in broken pieces. I will say that the customer service was really nice and sent out an extra board and hardware! if you are looking for a relationship building exercise or a quick divorce this is the shelf for you. If that isn't what you are looking for pay a little extra and find one that comes put together already!! if you are looking for cubes that will fit 12" roll of vinyl, this is also not what you're looking for, the bins are not deep enough.

Not Good -Dirty Fingerprints, Touch Up White Paint

This is the most poorly made piece of furniture I've ever purchased. Multiple pieces arrived with dirt marks and fingerprints that I can't get off, and many pieces were poorly touched up with white paint on the edges. The backing on some pieces of the particle board were also chipping off. Additionally, there are no guide holes in the back of the cubbies to line up the backer boards, so you have to have a drill to assemble that part correctly. I had much higher expectations for the price.

Decent Desk

This is a pretty neat desk! My husband bought this for me as a gift and overall I feel it's a good fit for what we are using it for. I was pretty concerned when I read reviews (after it was purchased for me) and saw that this thing required glue. In all the furniture I've assembled, none of them required glue. This desk still uses cam screws and the glue is to help glue the wooden dowels into the holes... which is nice since that means the are no visual nail holes except for where the cam screws are. You will definitely need more glue to help assemble this. I was being pretty stingy with what was provided and still found I needed more glue. I simply bought some wood glue to assist. The desk's pieces arrived in great condition! It comes in a heavy box and you will need at least two people to help carry it. When assembled, the shelves are tall enough to store binders/books and such. I do wish they were a bit deeper to hold some type of big basket as any standard basket will overhang off the edge by about 1.5 inches. Most of the shelves have a weight limit of 10 pounds (and 15 pounds for the ones that touch the floor). The desk top has a weight limit of 80 pounds. I'm 5'6" and I am taller than this desk... I think the desk is around 4'6" tall. The shortness is actually kind of nice as you can actually reach things. The desk top is very spacious. I find the desk to be pretty sturdy (which surprises me given the glue it wants you to use). The directions say you need a screwdriver, mallet, and power drill. The drill is simply to help attach the back panels...I was able to get away with an electric screwdriver. Overall, I would recommend this desk option to anyone looking for a reasonably priced desk with lots of space options...Just buy more glue.

GOOD FOR THE PRICE

I bought this to use as a craft table. It took two hours to assemble and you do need extra glue! There are two flaws- a crack on one bottom side board and a hole on the top board- it's the size of a quarter- looks like something hit it and punched through. Because they are not visible I'm keeping it but will ask for a price adjustment because it's damaged. I would advise you to buy two so you can swap any damaged pieces and then make your return, since others have said they got damaged ones also. Just a suggestion if you need your desk right away!

Cheaply Made, A Disaster!!!

The one and only good thing I can say about this craft desk is that I like how it was designed, the layout with the book shelves and work top is nice. BUT this is THE most cheaply made piece of flat packed furniture I have ever purchased and I have purchased and put together plenty! Upon trying to assemble the desk we discovered about half of the wooden dowels provided were too long for the holes and had to be sawed down. Then when we tried to screw in the hardware pieces they completely disintegrated! They only give you enough hardware for exactly what you need, there are NO extras so we were left without enough bits to put it together. In the end my husband had to completely re-work the desk and screw it together using his own hardware and tools otherwise the thing would have fallen apart. In addition to this the finish is extremely fragile, one little hit and it is marred all over. It is flimsy and cheaply made, if not for my husband re-inforcing it with multiple screws there is no way I ever would have been able to use this desk. I thought I was getting a good deal with this, that is a joke. I paid $119 and the thing MIGHT be worth about $20! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT get this desk! Save your pennies and get something of better quality. I sure wish I had!
