AmeriHome Two Step Utility Stool

I like my AmeriHome Two Step Utility Stool, but it is not perfect. The first step is large, not some narrow ladder step. If you put your foot on it completely everything is fine. If you make the mistake of only stepping on the front of the step the stool can feel unsteady. It folds and unfolds nicely for easy storage. I have had it for a few months and it still works just as well as when I got it. It is definitely a substantial addition to my kitchen so I don't have to ask my husband to get things for me anymore.

Very sturdy and good quality. I use this in my kitchen every day because I’m short. I’ve been using it for a few months and have had no issues. Open and closes easily. Highly recommend.

Be careful

Be very careful with this step stool. It folds up very easily while in use. Happened to me last week. Fortunately no injuries. I have a similar style that is 30 years old and never had an issue. The latch not as good as the old one.

The steps are thin metal. I was afraid to use the utility stool. I returned it. Forgive me Overstock.

I bought this to use as a high chair for my grandkids and I think it's going to work perfectly I love that there was no assembly required will also use as an extra step stool

Compact and Perfect Height

Who doesn't need a step stool around? We needed a step stool for the office. Could not be an eye soar and could not take much space. This is perfect. Compact, Light, and Esthetically Pleasing.

Sturdy Stool

This step-stool is very sturdy and holds up to 300 lbs. I think it was a great purchase for the price and am happy we ordered it. It folds up well and there is a latch on the other side for extra stability (just remember it's there or you'll have trouble folding it back up!)

Works well as a closet step stool.

Bought this 2 step stool for our very tall son's vaulted ceiling walk in closet so he can easily reach his high shelves and collectibles. The width and step felt good, but he said it gets a bit wobbly on the top and he's 200lbs. Serves it's purpose on limoted occasional use.

slides around

the rubber on the bottom is more like hard plastic and it slides around the floor. it's also to heavy to carry around the house and to store easily

Very safe

I needed to store canned goods in upper kitchen cabinets, so I found this step ladder. Glad I purchased it, now I have so much room!!

Provides just the right height and strong support to reach those higher places. Just what I wanted!

Pay attention to the safety latch and bar

Came with a bent bar that kept the safety latch from being able to latch. With a little man-handling, I straightened the bar out and now the latch slips over the bar as I believe it should. without the bar/latch, the step very easily will collapse if the climber places too much weight on the front of the step. Nice step stool with those adjustments. Will be using in the garage and outside.
