I have put a lot of flat-pack furniture together, but this one takes the booby prize. I just spent over an hour trying to put the first 3 pieces together. Nothing lined up. 70 minutes trying to get cheap 6 lock nuts to lock in exquisitely brittle particle board. Crooked holes. Mismeasured holes. A lot of splintered holes.

pretty straightforward directions easy to follow if you've ever done any do it yourself cabinetry assembly before. everything went together fairly easy, It was definitely what I was expecting. The panels on the front of the trash can door are a little flimsy more so than I thought they would be. But otherwise it's a pretty solid cabinetry.

Terrible decision

After 5 weeks the arm has broken. The hinge fell apart. Really poor quality

Assembly took a bit. Looks good. Unfortunately, it’s near impossible to find a tote that would fit perfectly. Most are too big and the next size down the basket only goes halfway up. Also, the hinges are very brittle. Broke off after a few times opening the door

Just what I was looking for

I purchased the white cabinet with black plastic knobs. I like this cabinet. It was a little challenging to put together with just pictorials. I had to purchase a driver drill in order to get the long flat ended mechanical screws into the wood on the underside of the cabinet. Maybe someone stronger could have used the manual screwdriver that came with the kit to do this as shown, but I was not strong enough. The pull out bin doors close flush against the front of the cabinet, however, there is a slight gap that is noticeable between the pull out bin door frame and the bin door when it is closed on the left side of the cabinet. Trying to adjust the arm that holds the bin door open and closed did not help unfortunately. I never figured out how to get the bin doors when closed to not overlap the top drawers. It likely has something to do with the hinges, but I tried them both ways and it did not seem to matter. I was afraid of taking the screws out again to figure out another way as the screw holes could become stripped out and then they would not hold the bin doors securely anymore. For me it was a bit complicated figuring out the diagrams and it took me approximately 4 hours to put it together ( with 15 minute breaks every hour ). This is why it is a 4 star rated item in my opinion. Overall it is a very functional and nice looking trash cabinet. I would highly recommend.
