Sleek and pretty, this scale has a glass top layer that gives it a slight greenish tint as mentioned by another reviewer. You can see this in my photo of the scale next to white baseboard. The numbers that appear when you step on the scale are a bright orange-red (not turquoise as in the site photo) and very easy to read. There is no "window" for the numbers; they just appear! When you step off the scale, the numbers completely disappear after a couple seconds (see my photo). The weight that registers aligns with my doctor's scale.
