Overpriced 12 inch pot

Just like the 30 inch pot that I bought I like the color but that’s it. It turned out to be too short would’ve been nice to have a slightly taller one. It’s supposed to be self watering also came without instructions. Easy to figure out but once again it’s supposed to be self watering and it’s not. It almost killed my plants because it dried out it’s not pulling up water to water like it’s supposed to. So for the money it’s just not worth it.

This is a great little self-watering planter, surprisingly deep, easy to put together, and most importantly available during spring, when most Lechuza planters are not!

Lightweight, solid, as pictured

This is a solid planter and the graphite color is exactly as pictured on the website; it is not shiny but more of a matted nickel color. It is lightweight plastic that is painted in a metallic color (just a tad sparkly). It has a water reservoir at the bottom and a very convenient watering system, whereby you simply pour water in the tube that runs along the back side of the inner corner, and it fills and refills the water reservoir at the bottom. There is a little test-tube like mechanism that sticks out of the top of the drainage tube, with a small red stick inside of it which shows the water level. As the plant hydrates and the water level depletes, the red dip stick moves downward so you know when to fill it up again. There is no drainage hole at the bottom, so no need to put a water catcher under the planter - it sits as/is on the ground. I don't think this planter will fare well outside, it is an indoor planter. It comes up to my upper shins (i am 5'5") so is just tall enough to make for a great floor planter with no need to put it on a plant table or riser. I am very pleased with it!
