A/C Support

The product held up really well, the only thing we struggled with was the bottom part staying up against the house. Since we screwed it into the base of the window and only used to for 2 days I wasn’t too worried.

Wrong

Lowes recommends things you don't need or are wrong while making a purchase. It's aggravating. Here, buy this mini split and don't worry. We selected another mini split for you to purchase also, and this bracket that is for a window unit. Also, we recommend coverings that aren't made to length for your system

Doesn’t even reach my AC unit to support it it was advertised along with the air-conditioning unit I purchased didn’t even need it but I already had it installed when I put my AC unit in

Use manufactured supports when available

I installed a large window A/C Unit in the wall of my garage. This worked perfectly for supporting the tail end of the unit.

Worst design ever. dont buy this.

This thing is heavy and while I don't doubt that it will hold something, who wants to drill holes in the sill to accommodate this thing???

Not a good design and very flimsy

Was really flimsy and doesn't work with horizontal opening windows. Ended up making a support with angle iron and welded this piece to the support. Still flimsy and would go with dual support unit and gain more stability

Nice concept but…..

Doesn’t work well with vinyl siding, crushes siding to wall. It does support the AC unit well though.

We didn’t need it. We didn’t have the right kind of window for it. It would be easier if it gave more detail on the box for what kind of window it was made for.

AC support

Strong and sturdy with easy to follow instructions

Takes some work to get it right.

It takes Trial and error to get it to fit properly. It took two of us about 30 minutes to get it in the window and positioned properly, with a lot of shifting and cursing. The one thing I did like about the bracket is it has a built-in level. However, we discovered after we finished that you have to make sure the bubble is NOT in the center, otherwise, you will have water in your house. We didn't know and didn't find this out until we went outside and looked at the conditioner and realized it was completely horizontal. We had to go back inside and fuss with it. Now that is it perfect I am glad I got it and am planning on getting another one for my other air conditioner.

This makes installing ac window units so much easier! Usually our air conditioner is at strange angles with gaps all. Once the bracket was installed, I got the ac installed perfectly in a couple of minutes.
