Really great product but...

I think this is an excellent product. It is very well made, solid, sturdy. It is easy to put together and install. However, it will not fit my one hundred year old window opening that has a depth of at least 11 inches, even extended to the last hole. I think it may fit up to about 9 inches deep. The product does not list this. So, sadly, I must return it!

Arrived on time and easy to put in. On our first attempt the bracket was angled too low and so the A/C was not actually resting on it -- we should have realized when the A/C was still so heavy putting it in place! Once we had the height right, sliding the A/C in was a breeze. It helped to use a level to make sure the bracket was *just* slightly angled down.
