The perfect chair

Bought this chair for my daughter's new apartment and she loves it. The color is exactly what she wanted and it's very comfortable. She's petite and loves sitting in it and having her feet off the floor.

Kids Room Loves Orange!

The leather soft Orange swivel side reception chair with bowed seat was great piece for the kids room for one who loves the color orange! Excellent buy!

Totally a decoration chair

This chair goes well with my decor and is cute. However, it is not meant to be sat in on a regular basis, it is only for decoration. It has an odd build that makes it uncomfortable to sit in and a weird little pillow. I changed the pillow out, but it still is not a comfortable chair at all. If you are using it in a decorative setting only it is great, but not a piece of everyday furniture.

The hole in the bottom of the chair was off and made the whole chair crooked. Overstock’s customer service was great, they even sent a new base to try and fix the issue. In the end, we returned the chair though because of the issue.

This Carson Carrington Large Lounge Side Chair is cute. Its fairly heavy but on the small size. It looks good in a ten room. It is a little wobbly otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I am using in a very modern laundry room. I purchased a Nantucket abstract rug. Have contemporary art. This was the perfect match. It is a bit hard and stiff but it is not a sitting chair. More decoration.

I love this chair. It’s different and adds tons of style and flavor to my sitting room. The color pops and is a welcomed addition. I will be purchasing another one of these chairs.

Arrived at my door very, very quickly; cartons and contents in perfect condition. Assembly was easy for this 80-year-old woman, and the only problem was that the last two screws didn't fit into the pre-drilled holes. I'll solve that problem with glue! As one who prefers a very firm seat, I find the chair very comfortable. It looks great in my living room (and my cat approves!)

Thought I'd try one before buying a grouping. Nope

This chair is just not comfortable to sit in. It's very stiff - the seat cushion is uncomfortable. When I assembled the base to the chair, the chair is crooked so you sit up too high on the stiff seat cushion at an angle. I had super good luck with products marked way below a similar design on other sites, recognizing that I might get what I paid for. Unlike other times, this time I really did get what I paid for. I will say the chair looks great, so if you have a waiting area where no one actually waits this might be a product for you!

Nice chair. I thought it was the cloth one but its the vinyl leather. But is soft and comfortable so I like it. Little heavy when putting it together. So I was glad that I read the previous reviews about watching for an arrow took a while it looked like it was leaning and then I finally got the arrows exactly right.

Nice chair....but an installation warning

Not sure if this was in the directions BUT the plate that mounts to the bottom of the chair has an arrow showing you which way to install the plate. If you install it backwards the chair leans. I took it apart and found my mistake. Great chair, just look for that arrow. :)

Perfect chair for a decor statement

I absolutely love it!!! But you need to know what you want and that it's a bit on the short side and quite stiff. Why I still love it? It was intended to be more of a decorative item and occasional extra seating. And the wow factor is awesome! I've been surfing for that special piece that would set the tone for our new mid century decor. Found a lot of egg chairs but way too expensive. Then one day, this slightly different one came up at a nice discount. Love love love it!!! Not the exact famous one but looks just as fabulous. Smaller and shorter than I thought (38" high), product pics must have been taken from lower to give a nice impression. And a bit low seating but that's the mid century style I love. Not very comfy, surely not for reading. It's just cute and perfect as an accent piece. It's very well made, super easy to put together (look for the "FRONT" mention on the black round plate before screwing). Nice fabric, color really pops with just the right retro tone, not super flashy orange but not dull at all. The base is ultra shinny and chrome, like the pictures. Great packaging, on time, with no issues. So yes, I absolutely love it. It really sets the tone. But if you're looking for a reading chair, a regular seating or a high profile lounge chaise, this is not it. For any other situation, it's perfect!! (photos: our decor is not complete yet!)
