Do not buy this

Just bought these to install, and found out:

Very simple and easy to do imstructions, didn't need my husband to do it for me. I love the simplicity of this product. Love the fact that you can't see it from the outside of the drawer or cabinet.

magnetic cabinet lock for tottlers.

perfect for the new crawler walker. our grand son was starting to clear out the kitchen cabinets. found these by accident. they work really well. put them on all the cabinet doors he could reach including the bathrooms. now it time to get used to them but after a couple of days and a common location for the magnetic key. we are all good. great product . make sure you have the right drill bit, it will go faster. and use a screw driver for finl tighting so you don't crack the plastic.

Great for cabinets that don't have handles

I wouldn't necessarily trust these on a cabinet where a child could throw their weight on getting it open. The piece of stiff paper it has to measure where to install the parts kinda works, but only kinda works. Getting the spacing Exactly right is important for this product, adjusting the spacing is difficult. Once it is in place it works great, given its a magnetic lock it shouldn't be difficult to make a replacement key.

The latches are very effective keeping the doors closed. You need to remember to keep the “key” magnet nearby.

If you can afford it, having the magnetic locks is the way to go, where I am it’s about 20-25$ for 4 locks and 1 key. We purchased 3 sets for our kitchen and bathrooms and it was a great investment, our little cannot open at all and if I want him to be able to open a cupboard to play with pita and pans or if he’s gone to bed and I’m putting dishes away etc. I can flick a switch on the inside lock for it to remain unlocked. The installation is a little tricky and time consuming however if you have someone around who is more handy than myself it should be a piece of cake, all in all I 100% recommend this purchase

Effective, easy to install.

A power drill is necessary with these, unless your cabinet wood is very soft. But they are otherwise easy to install, and they are far more secure than the locks that don’t screw in. I love not seeing them, and our toddler has now long given up even trying to open the cabinets and drawers we have locked. Really nice to be able to leave them unlocked as well, as needed!

Excellent product. Provides the safety of child proof locks with the option to disengage when there are no children in the home. Easy to install. Wish they were just a little less expensive.

Adult Proof Strong not just Toddler

This is a great product! I am a Property manager and my goal is to keep the kitchen cabinets locked so residents can't take my items. Children, teens and adults all can not open the cabinets. It's a great product.

These things are AMAZING. Had the grandbabies visiting, and they get into everything! I love the fact that these locks can be "turned off" when the littles aren't around, so that you don't have to use the magnetic key to unlock. They work very well, are very sturdy (the three-year old was trying with all his might to pull open the cabinet door where the cookies are hidden and the door wouldn't budge). Great for keeping small hands out of places they shouldn't be! Easy to install, you can't see them from the cabinet fronts, and easy to open with the key.

Just finished installing these. I have to say, the instructions and template make installation a breeze. These work great with soft close cabinets. My favorite feature is the ON-OFF switch that lets you turn off the latch. Price seemed high, but well worth the price.

These were easy to install with the included template. We installed them on bathroom vanity cabinet doors at a small business to keep unauthorized people from getting into the cabinets. They are invisible once installed, so the cabinets look good but the items inside them stay secured.

The locking system is great! The toddlers cannot get into the cabinets and drawers at all. The locking systems that catch after about 1.5 to 2 inches allow small hands to still reach in and grab things even up to their elbow. I love these magnetic locks.

These were perfect for our brand new kitchen. Easy to install, easy to use (even our 3 yr old could do it if we taught him, but we don't :) ). The magnetic keys are great because it holds the key to a nearby switch/outlet that our toddlers (3 of them) can't reach. Much easier than the old hooks, and they 100% shut down the toddler intrusions.

I have a cat that is part feline, part Sour Patch Kid. When he's not being evil, he's the most cuddly thing ever. He's also too smart and knows how to open our kitchen cupboards. I installed four of these last night and they work beautifully. Now if only my husband can stop forgetting where he last put the key. Good thing I got two sets so we have a spare.

Works great, but...

We got this set since our cats are opening our cabinets banging the doors and crawling on our dishes, in search of food. They work great, but our teen daughter opened the cabinet, then put the key down inside, got her item out and shut the door, with the key, inside. Good thing we got a 2nd set, to have a magnet strong enough to open the cabinet door. I'd recommend to the company, to provide 2 keys with these sets. We can't be the only people this has happened to. I'm ordering a 2nd key, but they're expensive; HALF the price of the entire set. (Seems a bit STEEP, but we need it.) Otherwise, installed correctly, it keeps adults, teens and pets OUT.
