Todd misrepresents its products with fraudulent pictures

After looking at the ad on West Marine's web site I decided to go with a much thicker seat cushion then what I currently had. Or so I thought. The picture of the Todd seat cushion was easily two inches thick if not more. I bought the chair, pedestal and cushion, the complete package. I paid almost $600.00 for both of them. When I received them the cushion was a half inch thick. I called and was told I could ship them back at my expense. The rep told me the picture was wrong and that they hadn't carried that model for years. They have a horrible customer service dept.

Picture of cushions is deceiving

The picture shows at least a 2.5 or 3 " cushion. But the seat cushion is actually less than 1". So be aware of this.

Would not recommend. Very thin. Not as pictured. No attachment straps.

Bought them to put in the back of my fishing boat. Good solid and seat is very comfortable. The store had one in stock had to ordered other one got it in like 2 days .

Great function at a great price

Needed easy to maintain seating at a reasonable price and this product fit the description.

GOOD SEAT - GOOD VALUE

I used the Todd Enterprises Freeport Helm Seat as part of make-over on an older 14 foot inshore fishing boat. The seat has four mounting nut locations that are molded into the base. Unfortunately, they did not match the swivel base that I installed. A little reengineering of a plate drilled to match the holes in both the swivel base and the seat and it was a done deal. The seat is solid and not at all flimsy. While under way, I can throttle up and the seat stays firm and does not waver as some thinner shell type seats might. I believe I got good value for the money spent.
