So I know this is what they call KD furniture, short for "knockdown furniture". I've worked with it before so assembly with the posts and cams made perfect sense to me. I first used them about 15 years ago and a few times since. The instructions are nicely detailed and the illustrations clear and easy to follow.This item is very heavy in the box and the whole unit is heavy when you are hanging it on the wall. Either get help holding it up when you put it on the wall. I am lucky to have an adjustable stand that I put it on at the desired height. It comes with 4 screws and dry-wall anchors to hang it with. There are predrilled holes for the screws to attach it to the wall but they are not 32" apart which would be ideal to hang it on the standard 16 inch on center studs. I chose to drill my own holes, with 2 in the center and one on each side 16 inches off center. It looks nice. I have a few other shelves and cabinets in my bedroom a matching dark brown. The baskets are a little small but they make useful storage. The top is a convenient shelf and there are coathooks attached to the lower part. It makes good use of wall space. The heavy manufactured wood is dense and holds a screw well.

I hung this Decorative Cubby Wall Shelf in the entry way from our garage. It is ideal for hanging jackets and the top shelf and wicker baskets can be used for items you take in and out of the house with you, or you can just use the baskets for storage. The cabinet is made of a wood composite with a dark laminated finish. The coat hooks are metal. Simple assembly is required but there are many connections so it takes time and you will need a second person to help hang it on the wall. Instructions and hardware are included.
