Nice Shelves for a fair price

I recently purchased this five set of white floating shelves and overall I am satisfied with them. The quality is decent for the price. There were some minor marks and imperfections right out of the box. The installation was pretty straightforward and the shelves work well for lightweight items. I’m not sure that I would try anything too heavy on the shelves even with the wall anchors. Overall they are nice shelves and a good budget friendly option. Beautiful open shelving to upgrade your space

Threshold’s white open concept shelves are the perfect addition to any room. The different sizes could be rearranged in many different combinations and are versatile enough to be used in multiple locations throughout your home. They were easy to install and appear to look easy to remove if I decide to rearrange in a different area of my home. I highly recommend! I received an incentive to write this review.

Gorgeous, sturdy and so easy to hang. GET IT

The 5 piece Wall Shelf Set by Threshold is exactly what my bedroom needed. I always wanted to have some cute decorations in my room to make it feel more relaxing and peaceful but always ended up junking up my window seal or nightstand. This is the perfect way to add a beautiful touch to any room. I split mine up a little and am obsessed. This set gave my room and entire makeover at a fraction of the price it would cost to have someone build shelves. I can’t recommend this enough and will be buying WAYYY more of these for other rooms of my home as well. I received an incentive to write this review.

Dont listen to the reviews

These reviews had me scared to death. I'm as stupid as you can be and still be allowed to live on your own. I put these up by myself in like 30 mins. Didn't use the tape method (too complicated) just used the template included. Will be getting another set to fill the rest of the wall. They look so good!!!

Damaged Item

Item came damaged out of box. Someone had chipped a corner and colored it in with sharpie to hide it. Target won’t refund me unless I take all the shelves back down and return them.

Easy to mount floating shelves

Sturdy and well made white painted floating shelves with easy to install hardware already mounted on the shelves itself. It was quick to mount onto the wall and looks very modern and natural. The paint is smooth and scratch resistant. I like the heavy weight of the shelves themselves and how secure the hardware is designed. The shelf corners are very slightly rounded and each shelf aligned to the wall very well. I received an incentive to write this review.

Bright white high-quality shelves

I love this wall shelf set. This is a great set that you can enjoy in any part of your house. This set comes with many pieces which I exceptionally love. You have one longer shelf, two medium size and two smaller shelves. These shelves are made of high-quality wood with a nice bright white finish. These hang easily on the wall and are no trouble to get off. Great style and quality I received an incentive to write this review.

Poor quality for price

I bought this set in white over the weekend and tried to install them for my room, but I was met with many challenges. I have installed many wall decor items, so I know this has nothing to do with my skills, though I will say that I am not a professional and would never claim to be. The shelves are designed to be hung by wall screws securing into hardware on the back, but the shelf hardware's design makes it extremely difficult to have the shelf sit securely and flush to the wall. To make adjustments to the wall screws length, I had to pull up on the shelf (that's how it's designed), which resulted in cracking of the shelf on the back end. This was so frustrating to deal with because I spent $40 on shelving and it broke so easily. Yes, I understand that Target is not know for its wall shelves, but you'd think that if they sell them, it should be either cheaper for the poor quality, or a BETTER material that is not a cousin to MDF board.

waste of money

the mounting hardware is not evenly attached in some pieces, which makes it impossible to hang them up straight. Some shelves are also bend ever so slightly that they won't hang straight either. Total waste of money!

Assembling is just confusing even when I tried evening it out. Creates large holes. It’s not sturdy at all. Do not waste your money.

Terrible design

The surface of the shelf is held by 2 screws. There are much better ways to mount a floating shelf and have it be sturdy. These shelves are decorative only. Very disappointed with how they mount. Pretty easy to install with template, but seem tippy.

Truly awful

Do not buy these shelves. I've successfully hung numerous wall items before, both using studs and using drywall anchors; these were an absolute nightmare, and it is impossible to get them flush (unless, I suppose, you are putting both screws into a stud), because the anchors are so massive that they cause the drywall to bow out, creating a wall surface that is no longer flat. I was able to install two. I won't be bothering with the rest. They both wobble. Just get normal wall shelves. I wouldn't have gotten these stupid 'floating' style shelves if Target had had other options in stock, and there's no way for them to really work on this budget.

Okay so I read the reviews and just took a chance and hoped for the best. I shouldn’t have. Of course, the box came damaged, a day later, AND the shelves had paint chipping off. Upset but not surprised.

Instructions need a change!

They look nice. Came undamaged from an online order. The instructions MUST be changed. You absolutely NEED to predrill a hole in your drywall for the anchor. If you don’t and try to tighten it with just a screwdriver, it will likely tear up the drywall and not land in the spot where you measured it for. I used a 1/4” drill bit and the anchor locked in perfectly where I wanted it. Hopefully this saves someone else’s wall. See picture attached for detail! Please fix this Target!
