I use these pads as a 0000 steel wool substitute for a final rubbing on shellacked furniture. It smoothes out dust specks and knocks down the gloss a little without leaving visible scratches or clogging.

Purchased these to attach to a sander and clean some shower doors that had severe water stains. It worked really well! They did not scratch the doors and removed the water stains almost entirely. Need to do a second pass to remove them all. Overall very happy. Much quicker than by hand. They are large, so they can be cut down to fit a variety of sanders or to the correct size for the job at hand. Only wish I could have purchased less of them. I have pads for life now. :)
