Oversized to cover mistakes made by lousy drywallers. It does the job and its a switch plate. Not much more to add.

Nothing special. Cracked when I installed it but that was my fault. The switch was recessed more then it needed to be and as I tightened up of the screws I figured it would pull the switch closer but it didn't. I'll just get another one and loosen up on the switch mounting screws.
