My old filter had been ruined and the shop vac needed it desperately

It fits my DeWalt shop vac. Has a strange chemical smell that doesn't go away. But it fits and is reasonably priced.

Fits great older shop vac

Did not work for my 6Gal 3 HP Shop-vac, it should have a screw on bottom piece but the one from HD is sealed at the bottom so you can’t screw on the nut.

It works I use it along with a medium size bag. Very little dirt residue in the shop vac exhaust. It is advertised as being washable but I've never had much success doing that. . If you must clean it roll it down the driveway with a stick.
