The top is warped and so when it is in the closed position one corner does not lie flat. There is a half inch gap in one side.

Easy to operate. Great product for the price
Well-built, easy to put together
Although you can get a lift-top for half the price of this one, the quality on this table really shows. The table was really easy to put together and everything fit perfectly. The lift-top can sturdy and can probably support 10-15 pounds while in the lifted state. I am glad I purchased this.
I might buy this again, but not from NFM
This is an interesting piece. They had to pull 3 of them down before they found us one that was not defective. Beware of ordering sets of furniture that match. We ordered this with a full living room set, had the delivery date set, room cleared out, and received only part of our order. NFM takes zero responsibility and does not care that we have no place to sit this Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I would consider buying this again
The table is great and I like the solid wood. The hardware is very cheap when installing, the bolt head and Allen wrench metal is too soft.

I would recommend this. The lift top is perfect to eat at the couch and doing zoom on the computer.

This is the most functional and useful piece of furniture in my entire home! Pefect for pulling up to our couch to work off my laptop and so many other things. Very sturdy, as well!
