I was a tiny bit afraid that it wouldn't work for hanging what I needed to hang and being 76, I am used to doing things the old way. Well, I was so very happy with this and will keep buying these stick on hangers for everything. I put them inside my kitchen cabinets and hung strainers, washing brushes, etc. on them and that helped my drawers and cabinets out greatly! I even took one and put it on the end of my bathroom cabinet to hang my hair dryer on. That has been Wonderful! I'm using them everywhere I need to hang something and when I changed where I wanted one put, it came off easily.
Holds like it should
This holds well on several surfaces. After replacing several other brands these held. While these are not clear and show up if there isn’t something covering them, my Christmas decorations stayed wherever I put them. The rotating hook allowed one hook to hold my large and somewhat heavy wreath. I am very happy with these
Awful product
I followed the directions and the stickers do not sticks at all. I used up several stickers attempting to make it work. I ended up using double sided tape that I had at home. The hook actually stuck to that tape. Find yourself a good double sided tape and stick the hooks to it. Otherwise, this product is useless.
Doesn't stick!
I should've listened to the reviews. I followed the directions, made sure I cleaned the area and it absolutely didn't work. I used up several stickers trying and never got it to work. I had double sided tape and the hook actually stuck to it. Get a stronger double sided tape and stick the hooks to it. Don't use the stickers that came in the package.
Adhesive not adhering
The adhesive is either a bad batch or has gone bad. I tried 7 times, cleaned the wall every time and gave it dry time, let the hook “set” and yet everytime things were falling. I’ve used these a ton in the past and actually bought them to replace a couple that started failing, but had been up for 2 years. I will absolutely be returning these because I know they can and have been better.
What a joke!
If I could give it zero stars I would! My Christmas decorations are falling off left and right. I am well versed in how to use command strips, I’ve been using them exclusively to hang stuff for many years! The adhesive is so weak on these that the lightest touch from even my finger will make them fall off before I’ve even hung anything! Whereas hooks I’ve had up for a couple years are still going strong. Bought this kind for the first time this year and they’re a waste of money joke. Don’t buy.
Works great under certain circumstances
I thought i'd try these out even though i have seen reviews which point out a lack of adhesion in some situations. In short, i am very happy with them, but with some caveats.
Curved edges is annoying and impossible to center
Command strips are great but why are these so curved making it impossible to center your hook?🤦♀️. I keep pulling the hooks off and resticking and getting new hooks and I can’t get it perfectly centered in the French door corner to hang a wreath. My wreath is side ways because I can’t get the hook straight with the curved edges. A straight edge would be much better. Super annoying. I keep wasting hooks trying to center. Make a straight edge command, what is this weird design?!
Takes paint off yet doesn't stick
I have no idea how the strips that come with these hooks can both not stay adhered yet ALSO remove paint when they fall off (approximately 30 seconds after hanging anything on them). Yet that's exactly what happens. And here's the thing: the hooks themselves are PERFECT for mini string lights (i.e. the classic indoor holiday lights). If you adhere them with the normal white command strips, you're all set. The problem is that you're paying over $7 for these hooks while ALSO needing to spend money on the strips that actually stick to the wall. I have no idea why 3M decided to even create these ridiculous clear ones, but I'm telling you: don't even bother. I promise you they will not hold up any weight. Save yourself the aggravation and buy a pack of white strips if you want to use these hooks.
What a disappointment, Extremally dissatisfied.
Wouldn’t use this junk for anything other than a small calendar or a car key, “that’s key not keys”. Easy install and even easier un-install when they start falling, Ugh….
