Trash Can does not work, very dissatisfied

Looked like what I needed and wanted. When putting on the lid, one side of lid does not fit securely and lid does not work. Want to return for full credit.

Honest

The trash cans are not white as described. We bought 3 more for our shop to match the existing ones. They are beige to cream colored. Not a fan of the lid when trying to use a bag. Pretty disappointed with Rubbermaid and Walmart's color descriptions.

Lid is a J lid and doesn’t fit totally annoyed

This isn’t brown it’s cream. Also the lid is a j lid and doesn’t fit at all!! It either falls off or ends up in the waste basket. Don’t buy if you’re using it on a porch or deck and need a lid

It came on time but the lid isn't here

Well I got the trashcan but the lid is missing. I was under the impression that the kitchen trash can came with the trash lid but it's not with it? Am I wrong?

it would have been great if the lids had been included with the waste baskets as advertised and as ordered. Your website is not user friendly when there is an issue with the order. All I want are the lids that should've come with the wastebaskets.

Right size kitchen garbage can.

Beige color nice. Functional lid. Right size for kitchen even bathroom.

Very poor product.

The top falls off when trying to open and close. Lid can't open and close with a bag in it. Can't believe this was sold to the public. Older model of this was great. Very disappointed with Rubbermaid.

Great for the recycle items.

I was looking for a container for my recycle items. This was perfect. The 13 gal trash bags fit perfectly, and now I do not have to resort everything on trash day.

Practical size

In my tiny kitchen I wanted a light colored wastebasket so that it wouldn't strike out, and it had to be small enough to fit, yet large enough for a kitchen size garbage bag. This is simply perfect!

Poorly made garage can with lid

this lid doesnt fit , no way to keep in on basket smaller than basket poor hinge set up no way to put liner in basket with this poorly designed unit, though rubbermaid products were better made dont waste your money on this

Just right.

Just drop it on the lid and it falls right in and the lid pops back up. I use it for my laundry basket. It is perfect. Not to tall not to short.

Cheaply made, lid does not work with a liner

The lid is so flimsy with nothing to hold it in place - it just sits on top with no retractable pins or anything to keep it there and keeps getting knocked off anytime I put something in. Also, you cannot use it easily wtih a liner. The liner keeps the lid from easily swinging open and closed (tho it does without a liner) because it's SO lightweight and flimsy. Even with trying to smooth out the trash bag and pull taught, there's no way to use this with a liner. A counterweight on the backside of the lid might remedy this. I'd expect that for maybe $5-10 waste basket but not a $20 kitchen trash can, so it's really useless for it's intended purpose. I guess if I didn't need a trash bag in it, it would be fine Wish I had left the stickers on so I could return it.

I bought this because it is Rubbermaid. So much for the name. It is poorly designed with NO hooking pieces to hold the top on. The top becomes dislodged constantly. Garbage bags cannot be used since they have nothing to hold onto. I like the color of this but nothing else.

The first time I received the wastepaper basket it was packed in a box that was way too small and it was squashed! They sent me a new one, And this one was packed in a box that was big enough to put it in! Received it in perfect condition

Somewhat Strange Design

For the price, this is a good value. In fact, I do not know how they can provide free shipping and still make a profit, It came quickly and well packaged, but the lid is just plain weird. It truly looks like it was designed for some other model. It is not hinged, does not fit properly, and will definitely fall off often. It is large and will therefore hold quite a lot.

Poor functionality

There were a couple of issues with this trash can. For one, our standard kitchen trash bags didn't fit well. They were tight and had to be stretched to fit around the top of the can. Because of that, the push in part of the lid hung up on the bag. The flip top also got caught on the bag. Finally, the lid does not latch onto the can securely. I expected better from Rubbermaid.

Great product

Love everything about it-very sturdy and durable. The 13 gallon drawstring trash bags are a little snug but regular ones (flap tie) will work better. The lid on occasion gets stuck but doesn't seem to with the regular bags.-
