This is a perfect size for my two boys to hang out in the backyard or the park when there is no shade. Easy to set up and pack away as well. Would recommend as a gift for an outdoorsy family.

Easy set up, easy use!

I just got my base camp and am very happy! I wanted something that would provide shade for my baby and toddler in the summer months that wouldn’t break after two uses! The set up and take down was so easy (not true of many cheaper sun shades out there) and the packing was smart (sun cover fits in the top of the tent bag, comes with fillable sandbags and pegs).

Beautiful canopy

Great addition to the Cruiser! We got only one for our toddler and planning to get second one for our baby. Takes a bit to figure out how to snap it on correctly. Protects well from hot California sun. A must have item.

Still new to us

This has been ideal for outdoor activities with my preschooler and toddler. My toddler isn’t interested to join us in our gardening most days so this was just what I needed. Easy pop and set up, toss water bottle and toys in, and she was happy to hang out while we worked in the garden. Then take down was really fast and easy(once you figure out where to grab to grip). Storage is fabulous and compact, and attachment to our veer wagon makes for easy transportation.

Summerrrr

This white is so perfect for summer and I adore the clean look it provides. They keep my kids shaded in the heat and were smartly designed to include vents to allow air flow. Another review mentions that they pop off easily. This is absolutely user error and when placed correctly they’re in perfectly and never pop off. Their account on insta (veergear) recently addressed this in a video so check that out if you’re having issues.

Easy to set up and take down

This tent was a good investment. We used it for baseball practices and games. My 10 month old and 5 year old fit perfectly inside and had plenty of room to move around. The mesh all around allowed it to stay cool and in the sun it was easy to throw the cover on top. Unfortunately we only got a few uses out of it before my husband forgot it at the baseball field and we no longer have it anymore. But I would definitely buy again.

Perfect for beach, park, or pool/waterpark. Its not for camping overnight in obviously, but you can use it during the camping trip lol. It's small lightweight takes 2 seconds to pop up and I'm 5'2 mom with a 15m old...diaper changes, naps, playtime and clothing changes. It's tall enough for me to sit up comfortably. Breast feeding moms would love this! When my kid is older, this is a great idea for a play tent for pretend camping because it looks like a real adult tent. 🤣 WORTH EVERY PENNY. We have a veer wagon too so it's so practical that it attaches on the side of the wagon. Love this product so much!

Didn't even know we needed this!

So, we are going to the beach and decided on a whim to get this. Well we will be using this at the beach but for picnics, play dates, camp outs! It's such a fun play yard and so easy to put up and take down. Bought this one bc it fully encloses to keep bugs out! Highly highly recommend bc it's easy and the content love it!

Great product, netting material could be more durable

There’s lots to like about this tent, from the ease of set up and take down, to how lightweight and portable it is. It would function best for those babies who are less than 9 months or toddlers who are ok with self-play. When my daughter hit 10 months, she started trying to break out (which is impossible because there is only an outside-facing zipper, which is one the the most ingenious things about the design of thisproduct). Since her subsequent break out attempts, I’ve noticed that the mesh material that forms the bug barrier and the majority of the tent has a few minor holes. Given how much we paid for this and that they’re marketing it to babies/toddlers, I would expect better quality. It’s very strange because the rest of the construction, from the tent supports to the stitching seems top-notch, so I have no idea why they would falter with the quality of material. Still, I would recommend this product. We used it during the summer while our daughter was small and it was fantastic. Just be weary of when your kids get more mobile.

A must!!

Has to be one of the best purchases for my children I have ever made. It is convenient and lightweight. It is larger than I expected, and it serve its purpose well. I am 6'1", and I can fit in it with my twin boys comfortable and play. A must by for the family for trips to the beach, or just having the kids close by while you outdoors gardening and such. Perfect!

Portable and convenient

Love everything about this portable play yard. The only thing that could be added is a lightweight mat that fits the tent floor. Really unique, lightweight and perfect for camping/outdoor adventures. It’s a little large for backpacking but great for every other outdoor activity.

So useful!

I absolutely love this product! It’s easy for me to use and large enough for my baby to have fun in it. I love that I can use it indoors and outdoors.My only issue (which I already notified Amazon about and they acknowledged the problem) was that a large rusty nail was in my packaging. I’m not sure if this was in the Veer or Amazon package. It fell out as I was opening it and I’m glad I noticed it as I have a dog and baby crawling on the floor.

Basecamp Rocks

I purchased a Basecamp last April for a trip to Maui. My kids loved the Basecamp so much that it was constantly set up in our hotel room for their enjoyment. It's extremely lightweight and can be set up in less than a minute. It was super easy to travel with through TSA at various airports. I highly recommend Basecamp.

Basecamp

Let me tell you, I have a 1 year old who has always been finicky about sleeping anywhere other than in his crib. He has also figured out how to climb out of his pack and play. I was in desperate search for a safe solution. We found this product, & ordered it in our last hope of being able to take our little one on a vacation, where he would be able to nap & sleep where I am still able to see him & he wouldn’t be able to escape! This has been our perfect solution. We would love if Veer would make cushion which fits the whole surface space inside for sleeping. For now, a firm cushion of a foam dog bed is our temporary solution. It worked wonderfully & travels so well for sleep and play, we know our son is safe inside & we are able to see him! We love this product!!

FANTASTIC! I debated whether or not to get this initially. I am so happy that we had it for softball season. Now, it even gets used in the front yard. So lightweight, easy to open and close. Push it down and lock it into place. Great place for our 2 toddlers to hang out, and I can still fit in there with them. Quite spacious. Love the wind/rain cover. It came in very handy during those early spring softball games when we never knew what the weather would be. Love that it slips right onto our wagon so I'm not forgetting anything. So easy to use, put away and clean up. Our toddlers eat, play and nap in this during softball season or weekend adventures, and a quick wash with the hose and some soap once in a while and we are good as new. Make sure to let it dry completely if you do have to wash it. Best part for our summer is it kept the mosquitoes out and other random bugs.

Basecamp

Overall a great product. Love that it is white and has a sunscreen cover. The mesh is fine enough to not allow any type of bugs. Like that the door opens sideways instead of down so that nobody steps on it. My one year old has a ton of room to stand up and play. Also comes with stakes. The only downfall is that it is a little bit hard to close down. You have to squeeze the yellow parts but I'm not strong enough thanks to carpal tunnel.

Easy to setup, take down, and wipe clean.

Love the basecamp! Not only did our 3 year old love it, our 13 year old enjoyed being inside with her. Works perfect for cold baseball days and sunny hot baseball days. It kept the wind out wonderfully. Rained some and they got a little wet but that was to be expected. Definitely has been a huge hit. People have asked us where we purchased this every time we have taken it out.

Basecamp

I would give it 3 1/5 stars if I could, given issues with quality. The tent is as advertised with its utility and ease of use. Pops up and goes down as easy as they say. Everything is easy to fit back into the bag and its great to attach to the veer wagon. We have enjoyed our wagon and all our accessories, this tent being a great addition to all of this. That being said, we got the basecamp and set it up right away only to find a few of the mesh screen panels with little holes. After emailing Veer, their customer service team responded right away with a replacement tent. Although there were no tears in the new tent, the same areas in the mesh screen show potential for wholes to form down the road. Odd that it was in the same exact locations but seems to be a defect in a new product, which is unfortunate given the price point (A small screen patch fixes it however). Overall, I still think Veer products are of high quality and this might be some early run quality issues of the tent. The customer services experience was nothing short of outstanding and ultimately the tent is going to work, just might let a few more bugs in then it was designed to. Looking forward still to what Veer comes up with next.
