Difficult assembly. Grows algae. Otherwise nice.

I used this for the 2024 summer season. I had a lot of trouble putting it together. The screws it came with did not hold. I bought new screws from the hardware store that were longer and they worked. It was definitely annoying to not be able to put it together immediately.

I think it is worth it

I just got my pool finished last month and loungers were a must have but I didn’t realize how expensive they can be. I wanted to try a cheaper brand but I didn’t want a big hassle or expensive to send them back if they didn’t work out. Also my pool shelf is about a foot deep and a lot of them are made for less than 10 inches. All my reservations have been put to rest with this product. I ordered 2 and they came on time and was simple to put together. It can be done with one person but 2 will make it much easier. Literally less than 30 minutes with unboxing and clean up. So far the only cons are that one of the boxes was beat up and torn in spots and it made the chair a little dirty in those areas. They should wrap the pieces in plastic before they put it in the box to prevent any damage. The other thing is the instructions were not user friendly to me so I just searched for an assembly video on YouTube and that made it very easy to put together. So far I only put one chair together since some of the reviews said it floats around especially in deeper than 9 inch waters and mine is about 12 inches. So far it has stayed in place. I packed it with sand as instructed and I sat in it to submerge it and so far (2 hours) so good. If it doesn’t float around overnight I will put the other one together tomorrow. The best part is buying it through Kohl’s gives me an easy way to return. I can just take it to the store if it doesn’t work out. I don’t have to ship it back. Also I paid only $500 for 2 chairs and I received $100 in Kohls cash for making the purchase. So I was able to use that cash to purchase something else I have been wanting.

Cheap loungers = cheap quality

Not happy with this lounger. My neighbors bought a much more comfortable and more robust lounger - they did pay 4x more. This lounger is not comfortable. My wife and I slide forward on the seat like it’s a slide. I didn’t see that it attaches together with metal screws, the plastic is ultra thin and you can see through the vertical lines in the back of the seat. It’s ugly from the back view. My neighbors laughed at me for buying these loungers.

Vero Pool Lounger

I ordered my pool lounger on December 5. I was a little apprehensive about it arriving before Christmas. Five days later it arrived. It’s a Christmas gift for my daughter and husband. Therefore it hasn’t been opened. We have two homes on same property. It came to her house and it had a sticker that said Vero Pool Lounger. I’m sure they knew it was their gift as I don’t have a pool. It was ok though. We are all adults😂 I was most impressed with price and delivery. I hope it’s as easy to put together as everything else has been. Merry Christmas Step 2

Good idea but design and build could be better...

In general, this product appears to be a decent product, but what i most disappointed about it is how it is put together and the uncertainty that i have after doing so. It is made of two sections that are screwed together. Given that the seam between the two sections is precisely where most of the pressure is put, you would expect that the two sections are secured together using a nut and bolt system. Nope, they are just scrwes that are to be put in and through the plastic. Every time we sit on these chairs that gap feels like it is getting bigger and bigger! And the center screw, which is black is very visible in the gap, which really takes away from the clean lines and aesthetic of the design.

Loving these loungers

These loungers just arrived today and so far we're loving them. The only difficult thing was actually purchasing them since they are rarely in stocks. However, once I did get them ordered, they delivered in 3 days! Really appreciate quick delivery!

Highly recommend the Vero pool lounger and Step2

We would highly recommend the Vero in-pool loungers and Step2. We found the quality has met our expectations. The foot area does float up slightly in 9" of water when unoccupied on the Baja shelf but they have remained in the same location since they were placed in the pool. We did completely submerse them as suggested in another review. The fabulous pricing compared to other loungers on the market made us give them a try and we are ecstatic we did. You will be too! We did have a small shipping issue. Once Step2 was notified about the problem they immediately assigned us a fabulous CS rep. She took care of us to our complete satisfaction. Great company and lounger!!!
