Very well made to hold up the shelf

While the brackets look sturdy, the nail provided are of no use, they slide right through the holes in the brackets. I had to add washers so they do not slide through. The holes are bigger than the heads of the nails!

Previous similar plastic brackets had cracked. They were 30 years old. Hope these new ones hold up as well or better. I reused my existing screws for anchorage rather than using the supplied pins.

Easy-to-use and install. It's rather straightforward. They should redesign the plastic mounting piece for better gripping power then just a nail.

Pin heads too small

Pin heads too small or holes too large: hard to believe that such a mismatch is being sold. Had to use screws, then had to use different anchors. Do not buy.

Does not fit like it is designed for the shelving, but it does work.

The nails must be hammered in all the way, but the design of the bracket prevents that from being accomplished. Do not order these. You have to find an awl or something to try to hammer them in further, and then the provided nails don't have enough head on them to keep them from going completely through the wall. I made an enormous mess of our drywall and now it will need major repair.

Wish there were screws and not pins

I have a hard time getting the pins into the wall. Can’t seem to push with the hammer end so I have to use the head which is real awkward. I end up hitting the plastic and sometimes bending it.

I am very pleased with this ClosetMaid product. Very sturdy. Nice to have fresh, clean, new hardware & shelving in the pantry.
