The best birthday present ever
I love how stylish the Art machine is. I love how convenient it is, with minimal assembly required. Most of all, I love how much money I’m saving by using this product instead of buying the sparkling water by cases. I reckon it will pay for itself within a month of starting to use it. The flavors I bought are amazing and as far as I can tell, they closely match the brand-name products. I bought Diet Decaffeinated Coke, Diet Lemon & Lime, and Tonic Water. I wish I bought it ages ago. I’m pretty confident that any SodaStream machine would be great. I would’ve saved myself a fortune had I bought it when I first saw it in 2010. Ok, I might’ve not gotten an Art one then, but I would be happy with any.
SofaStream ART Sparkling water maker
This is my 3rd SodaStream. I really like this one the best so far. I like the lever on the side that you pull down to carbonate. It's mush better placed than the button on top that I had on previous Sodastream Makers. Previously I had to find a place they accommodated the machine height under a cabinet and then squeeze my finger under the cabinet to carbonate. This one is a little taller but with the lever on the side it's much easier and looks really nice. This one is now using a different cylinder and is quicker to change out. I signed up for auto replacement. By doing so they send you a free return label for empty cylinders.
Machine was damaged and used before
I purchased the Art Pepsi bundle in Black, and it arrived damaged as if used or was an ex display model. The outer box was dented and covered in paint but figured that was a delivery driver issue, and the contents were relatively ok. The machine box was a little dented, along with the syrup box, but figured it would be fine. The machine and the accompanying bottle are all scratched up, to the point i don't feel safe using the bottle as it looks like a very deep scratch. The machine box was not taped up, and the bag it comes in was not taped nor completely covering the machine.
Great products!
I love all the soda stream products, and the support I got by email and phone was second to none. The areas that could be improved were ; 1. I originally called to see if the new, shorter bottles would work on my (very) old machine. I was told (by both email and phone) that they would not. Well they do. . . I bought a new machine to accommodate the new bottles (and my, still working, old machine is really ancient, and looks like a mad max appliance). anyway, I am grateful for my new machine and bottles, but am hurt by the dishonesty. I do believe that the staff that gave me the incorrect information were just passing on what they were told. 2. I am getting way too many emails from you. once a week or less are plenty. I will buy more flavors, etc. but I can only drink, just so much soda. Please take your foot off the gas. Other than those two things, I am very happy, keep up the good work (except the lying of course, and the barrage of emails)!
[Rewarded Review] Love it!!!
I have become obsessed with carbonated water. I use to drink soda but wanted to be healthier. So switched to the Perrier and other seltzer waters. I drink one everyday, sometimes two a day and travel a lot. So going into gas stations to to buy those has become expensive and this machine is an incredible alternative! You could definitely take it on the go but you can buy refillable bottles and reuse over and over again. Sometimes I add lime or lemon. And you can choose if you want your water a little carbonated or extremely carbonated. No plugging in, no batteries! Absolutely love this machine!
One satisfied streamer
OBSESSED. absolutely obsessed. It started with one machine. I now have 3 different styles sitting on my counter. Why?! I’m that obsessed with them. Easy to use. Stylish. The variety of flavors soda stream offers is great. The options are endless for what you can make. My purchase was prompted because I found out I was spending 100-150 every two weeks at Dutch bros for a sparkling soda. I spent 90 on the soda stream bundle and 60 on alllll the torani flavors. I guess is what I’m trying to say is BUY THE SODA STREAM NOWWWWW!!!!
Have had it two weeks and it does an excellent job. I use filtered ice water and then return tightly capped carbonation bottle to fridge, 3 days later it is still carbonated. Machine looks and feels solidly built and is very attractive on counterspace, with acceptably sized footprint. I particularly like the lever on the side of the Art model vs. the push button on top of the other models, much better control and operational feedback as to amount of carbonation. I am flavoring my water with organic English cucumber, sliced about 1/16-1/8 inch thick, first washed and towel-dried, then Frozen on a cookie sheet and once hard, packed into a Ziploc. it only takes about an hour for just two frozen slices to thaw and already be infusing fresh, natural flavoring into the water tumbler, and with my tumbler's small drinking/straw hole in its otherwise screw top lid, the carbonation lasts pretty much all day rather than dissipating if in an open-top glass. (am using Iron Flask 24-oz. "Rover"). Very happy with the Art model of SodaStream and I do recommend it as being worth the additional cost over the Terra.
Full of glitches
I've owned SodaStream since 2011 and have loved it. It's great for parties, cocktails, kids and just having sparkling water at the tip of your finger.
LOVE the machine so far, issues with bottles…
I love the machine. It looks nice in my kitchen, doesn’t take up much space, it’s super easy to use. It makes great tasting bubbly drinks and saves me tons of time and money not buying pop or sparkling waters anymore. But the “dishwasher safe” bottles have a weird piece on the bottom that when put in a dishwasher get gross looking stuff stuck in between the black or white bottom and the clear plastic actual bottle and it does not seem to be removable to clean it properly. So that’s gross and frustrating. Still trying to figure out a solution for this…
Great product, great service!!!
I had bought an original soda stream and had used it regularly for around 11 years. It quit carbonating properly and I assumed it was a seal or o ring in it. I messaged customer service asking about replacement parts. They said they did not have any due to the age but offered to replace it completely with the art! I’ve been using the art for a few weeks now and can’t be happier with it. I feel as if it works better than the other one I had! I highly recommend this product!
Buyer Beware
I purchased one of these kits. When I received the bottles I also got a return box that said when I got down to two empties to send them in and they'd ship me out two replacement canisters. I did and never received them. When I checked on them I was told that they got the empties, but was not sending out any replacement canisters. I asked why, and they told me that I didn't order any. I told them the instructions I received said to send these in and I would get two replacements. I asked if I could pay for two bottles and since they had my empties, I would only be charged for the CO2. It didn't happen. So I paid well over a $100 for this package and didn't get my refills. SodaStream sent me out one bottle free of charge, but I want what I paid for, which is 3 bottles. I need one more bottle, and I'm willing to pay the $16 for what it would have cost me for the exchange. I think this is fair since they already have my empty returns. Be sure before you send in your empties that you are going to send you back the same number of bottles you are returning or you'll get shorted like I did for something you paid for.
[Rewarded Review] Pricy but easy to use. Professional look
Love the look and the large handle. being disabled it makes it hard to use other systems. Plus its mechanical and not electric. Helps control what it going on when carbonating. I do not add syrups until after carbonation the water first. That's so if it makes a mess it's just water and not sugar. I really wish this unit came with syrups sample options. Sodastream offers it but not via Bestbuy for some odd reason.
BAD CYLINDERS
i LIVE IN faIRFIELD COUNTY AND i CANOT BUY THE REFILLED CYLINDERS BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS EMPTY ALTHOUGH THEY ARE SOLD AS FULL CYLINDERS. i HAVE RECEIVED THESE EMPTIES WHEN BUYING AT 2 STORES IN NORWALK CT. i THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT I HAVE QUIT USING THE SODASTREAM MACHINE ALTOGETHER NOW. I FOUND I CAN BUY 2 LITER BOTTLES OF VARIOUS FLAVORS OF SODA ON SALE FOR $1.00-$1.50 EACH AT VARIOUS SUPERMARKETS IN MY AREA. NOW i AM STUCK WITH 4 EMPTY CYLINDERS. SOMEONE IN YOUR SUPPLY CHAIN IS EITHER INCOMPETENT OR IS A CRIMINAL. i THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW. GOODBYE.
Love Soda Stream, Hate Plastic Bottles
I love the new sleek look of the Art Soda Stream but I am not impressed with the plastic bottle or the fact that I cannot use any of my 4 glass carafes with the Art machine and am required to purchase new PLASTIC bottles to make my soda water. Why isn't there a seamless transition of bottles between the Soda Stream machines? It's the same brand of soda machine so why the disconnect? Hoping the bottle attachment I was forced to buy from some random company on Amazon will allow me to use my glass carafes instead of the plastic bottle it came with that adds an aftertaste to my water. I don't want to drink plastic particles with my water and am upset actually that this wasn't something Soda Stream considered.
Excellent! This is my second
Excellent!
Love my E-Terra - Concerned about Refills
I really like being able to make my drinks fresh each day! Set up was very easy, and I am drinking more water each day! I especially like the E-Terra's blue light and 3 automated carbonation options. I am in the process of trying lots of different flavors and experimenting with others to see what I prefer.
Love the Art SodaStream Sparkling water Maker
Our older system, finally died and wouldn't create any bubbles anymore. So we had be eyeing the ART system and decided that was the one we wanted. I knew Amazon Prime days was coming up, but didn't know if this system was going to be on sale. So we saw an opportunity to save money on a bundle for the ART. We got everything we needed and I ordered replacement Co2's to fit the new system. Was able to exchange the screw in cartridges for the Snap in for the ART system. We absolutely love this new system. So much easier to install the CO2 cartridges. And the handle for adding the CO2 to the bottle is easier and so much quieter than our old system.
Great combo!
I was drinking 3 liters of seltzer daily prior to purchasing my 90-day carbonation bundle. Due to a new health issue, I’m pretty much confined home outside of my treatments and no longer able to handle multiple cases of seltzer. I’m required to drink lots of fluids so now drinking 4 840 ml SodaStream bottles a day. Thinking about the bottle waste I’m eliminating from recycling and happy to do my part for the environment while enjoying the same great beverage. I prefer plain sparkling water and use filtered water in my SodaStream. Tastes great! I’m a five press carbonater and each CO2 canister (at 4 bottles per day) lasts about 13 days. I know my consumption will go down in a few months when I am finally past the treatment, so I know I will probably be able to stretch to a month per canister when that happens. Thanks SofaStream for making my life far easier during this health challenge!
Beautiful Design Needs better Packaging
We really like the design of the Art but what it really needs is improved protection during shipping. The face of the machine is a beautiful high gloss, but very sensitive black plastic. Ours arrived with scratches on it from what appears to be the result of abrasion during shipping. It's unfortunate because with the addition of a piece of protective film this could have been avoided.
Great alternative to canned seltzer
During the cyber week sale, this bundle was a fantastic price and made it not only feasible to consider a Sodastream product, but also more cost effective to purchase and use one for our carbonation needs. The bundle, on sale, makes it cheaper to do our own seltzer water fresh every day, than to purchase cans or bottles at the store. Now we have fresh carbonated water whenever we want it, water which tastes better and is as bubly as we like. A win win situation. Plus, it takes up only a small amount of space and it is so easy to use. It really is a no brainer. Cheaper carbonated beverages, fresher beverages and better tasting. Even at its normal price, this bundle will save you money in the long run, but when it was on sale, it saved money immediately, in that purchasing the same amount of bottled seltzer water that the bundle will produce would have cost us more.
