Beautiful and durable

I chose this bin because it is made with stainless steel. Cheaper quality bins I have had in the past have quickly rusted. However, years later these bins still look as good as new. They are a handy size for a small bathroom bin and can be neatly tucked away out of sight.

Simple but looks great and does the job

A sturdy bin with a pleasing aesthetic shape. Being a smaller bin it has fewer features than some of simplehumans other bins, but it does the basic job well.

Excellent bin

Excellent, good looking bins that fits snugly against the wall due its flattened shape. Quite expensive, but a cheaper branded bin that I previously purchased stopped closely automatically quite soon. This bin performs better.

Excellent quality

We've now bought three of these due to their ideal size, volume and quality. They are well made, the lid mechanism is smooth and the finish is very good. The finger print free stainless steel top is especially useful given that stainless is often difficult to keep clean.

A lovely and impressive bin

This my second purchase of one of these bins. The first is a couple of years old and I was very happy with it. I was not disappointed with this second bin and I like the fact it is has a soft close feature too.

Good purchase

As far as garbage cans go this is a nice model. The open/close mechanism is smooth. I like the matte black color. Using in our bathroom and hoping it’s large enough. I’m glad I bought the liners that fit the container because there isn’t lots of plastic hanging outside of it. I have had good luck with simplehuman products!

Dog Food

I use my new can under the counter in my dog feeding area. Because my dog eats raw food her garbage really stinks. The can is small and easy to use. The lid fits tightly and the liner and odor control pod help a lot. Plus, its pretty.

I need covered trash cans due to Boris!

Gone are the days of open trash cans. My Buddy, Boris, thinks that all trash cans are a smorgasbord especially for him! This is the only way I have of thwarting his need to pull everything out. Every trashcan in my house is Simple Human. I love them. They last forever. The bags always fit. My husband even painted an old one black with rustoleum.

Great product

This white and stainless steel bin looks clean and it blends in with my white bathroom suite. The stainless steel lid and foot pedal give it a classy look. The lid closes slowly and silently. (My last bin made a tinny clang)! It is a good size so it doesn't need emptying every five minutes. The price was reasonable as well. i am sure it will last many years Very pleased with this bin.

Great little trash can. Very true to pictures. No assembly required. Note, the other reviews are correct. It is virtually impossible to use a bag or liner without it puffing out from under the lid. This is kind of a shame because the trash bin is slim and attractive, but a bag sticking out from under the lid ruins the look. I've opted to not use a bag and will just have to occasionally wash the inner plastic bin. That being said, I'm very loyal to Simple Human products and, except for the bag issue, this little guy doesn't disappoint.

Get what you pay for. Superb quality

I'm a firm believer of spending that little bit more on things that you may not think about but will use every single day. Having owned a Simplehuman bin as my main bin and noting the superb quality, I bought this and was happy to see that the Simplehuman quality was once again there. Highly recommend and backed by a great warranty

I was looking for some stylish non-rusting bins for my new bathroom. They needed to be modern-looking to complement the rest of the bathroom. This bin fitted my requirement perfectly. The shape of the bin means that it does not stick out into the room any more than necessary . I particularly like the soft-open as well as the soft close lid. The fingerprint proof finish is brilliant and really keeps the surface clean. It only needs an occasional wipe to clean the dust off. The bin takes a standard size of bin liner so you do not need to buy the manufacturer's product if you don't want to. All-in-all, a top notch product.

Dependable Bathroom Receptacle

I bought this to replace an old simplehuman A step can. It holds more trash items and works well as expected. Love simplehuman’s lettered bag system. Only concern is there is slight rusting on the inside of the lid after only a few weeks. I think this may be unavoidable due to moisture in the trash (for example, spent cotton rounds saturated with toner, etc.) despite taking out the trash about once daily. On the plus side, that means the seal on the trash can is absolute.

Sanitary plus attractive

During this pandemic period in history, with the necessity of doing more sanitizing of our homes, I love having simplehuman waste cans in my bathrooms, the rooms that require more attention than ever to keep clean. Silent simplehuman lid. Foot step, toss, and the job is done. Toilet seat lids cover your toilet bowl for a good reason, so should your bathroom waste cans have a lid. Quality, functionality. Nice, but missing some expected simplehuman features (e.g., slow-close)

The design is very attractive and build quality is up-to-par for simplehuman. However, I'm disappointed that it does not include a slow-close lid (a feature I was expecting from simplehuman and one of the things that I thought really distinguished their quality products from cheaper knock-offs). Also, without the slow-close lid, the can is very loud when it closes unless a bag is in place (sounds like a high-pitch gong!). For dry trash, the can could be used without liner just fine, but then the closing is way too loud, which could have been prevented with a simple rubber lip around the inner can. Also, there is room in the base for some weight to hold the can in place better, but as fabricated, the can is too light and easily kicked around.

cute, bags don't fit well

The little can is adorable and works well. I bought the bags ("B") that are made for this little can, but was disappointed to find that they do not have the snug fit at the top that my other simplehuman cans have. When I contacted them about it, I was told that S H doesn't yet make tight fitting bags for this can. That's a drag. I probably wouldn't have bought the more expensive S H bags had I known they didn't fit snugly at the the top, and that I would have to finagle the bag each time if I wanted it to be invisible at the top. I still like the can better than what I had, so I'm keeping it.

Love it!

This is my second one. The last one I had for so long, I can't remember. The pedal stopped working, understandably, after many years. I never got around to getting a new one. For a replacement, I would ONLY get another simplehuman one. Also absolutely loved the free shipping and it came way before I expected it. KUDOS FOR SIMPLEHUMAN. (A word about your web page: VERY DIFFICULT TO FIGURE OUT!!)
