Cheap Hardware, Below average instructions.

I bought three of these for my garage. 2 out of the 3 ended up breaking screws when I was tightening them. I must add I used a socket wrench and tightened everything by hand. I did not want to make imprints on my drywall if I were to move them. Point being, I was not torquing down at all. The hardware is cheap. Definitely disappointed.

Great shelving product and easy to install

I bought these shelves a 8 days ago and they were delivered on March 25. Came in one package/carton.They were very well packed for shipment and arrived without any issue. I would advise opening the carton in a place where you have a flat surface and some room to lay everything out. I actually pulled out all the items and checked them off against the list in the instructions. Lots of parts but they all were there. A couple of days later when it warmed up I installed the shelving unit with the assistance of my wife. I think you could do it by yourself but it is much easier with two people. The instructions were good, easy to understand/follow.

Great shelves when you can't use ceiling

Its a good shelf. The size and mounting style are great for putting right above the garage door. I bought 2 of them to get storage in that perfect spot that never gets used. Only downsides are its a lot to put together and I wish they designed the wire part of the shelf better. I think they did it this way to keep the shipping size small.

Very well made and very sturdy. Finding studs is another thing altogether, but that is not an issue with the shelf. Comes with ability to place in a brick wall but not to attach to the dry wall with Molly bolts. I guess you just can't get the 600 pound weight without it being in the stud. Anyway I would purchase again without hesitation. It is a very solid shelving system, attractive and awesome. .

Missing Parts for instillation

The shelves are great and should last outside for years to come; however not all parts arrived and I had to purchase nuts and bolts to complete instillation. I would recommend a better QA of required items to match what is in your instillation guide. I drove 30 mins both ways to a Home Deposit in Del Rio to buy the items missing. For a product that was probably $100 (for both the 2x4 shelf and the 2x8 shelf) more expensive than another product I was researching you should have ensured all pieces required are sent. The 2x8 shelf had no parts except the wire supports and the shelving itself which was later mailed to me.

Almost Perfect

I had a VersaRac at my other house, so I already knew the build quality of the pro series wall mounted shelf was going to be excellent. The pro series wall mounted shelf looks the best in the market in my opinion. The reason I went with the pro series wall mounted shelf vs. the VersaRac was the idea of having a rack flush to the wall. However, the reason for this product being almost perfect is the spacing between brackets needs to have perfectly spaced studs. I wanted to install the shelf in the corner of my garage but I had no stud on the other end of the hanging bracket. I wish there was a little more flexibility with the hanging brackets. For example, a 24" long bracket vs. a 4" wide bracket (I can't remember if it's actually this size). Then having a corresponding bracket for the pad eye plates just incase a stud isn't available. I made it work for my garage space, but a little more flexibility in mount you'll have a perfect product.

Great product, so-so directions. . . .

Depending on your garage clutter situation, this product is either a godsend or gross overkill.

Excellent product, baffling lack of nuts and bolts

This is a fantastic shelving system. Easy to install, easy to link multiple shelves, looks great. The thing that keeps this from being perfect is a baffling decision made to shortchange customers on the number of included carriage bolts and acorn nuts.

Solid Build, Wish it had some enhancements

It's a solid product. well built and looks like it can withstand a lot. My only gripe is that because the top mounting brackets are attached via steel wire, the platform itself is not fixed solid in place, which means I cannot put a ladder up against it and it can move upward when pushed from below. otherwise the grates and lip are nice to prevent things from sliding off. Also because I wall mounted, it is hard to access this shelf from the side. I wish I had ceiling mounted so I could pick things off when standing to the side of the unit, not only from the front.

Ok, but could use improvement.

Okay quality. I would never put 600 lbs on these. I have less than 150 lbs on mine and the center is already flexing a little. It could use an additional cable support in the center. Also, the metal grate that makes up the surface of the shelf is pretty flimsy. Also the instructions are a bit confusing and not always complete, its hard to determine which nuts and bolts to use at times. They look good once installed though and did help organize my garage.

Amazing end product but the installation is unnecessarily uncompromising and complex if your studs don't line up exactly

This is a fantastic product, but it truly does require your studs to be perfectly placed at 48" & 96" from your starting stud. My home, which was built in the early 2000s had irregular spacing and it made the installation very difficult in that I had to mount a 2 x 6 laterally on the wall to bolt mounts into. I can already think of a couple of ways that they could manufacture the shelves to make them more adaptable without compromising their functionality.

Quality good...return policy not so good.

Shelved looked like good quality but turns out my walls in the garage have uneven spaced studs where I wanted to mount them so I had to send back. This is the reason for the 3 stars. First they offered a generous credit if I kept them but I really just couldn't use them and had no choice to send back. After a very hefty 20% restock fee as well as no refund on the shipping cost it ended up costing me over $200 to send them back. CS called to explain the reason for the minimal refund but if I would have known the exact refund before sending them back I would have kept the credit and seen if I could find someone else in need of shelves to sell them to. DO NOT BUY if you at all feel you might need to send back or if you have any doubts whatsoever about them or you will pay a hefty price to return them.

Very nice white shelves

The shelves are very nice, I bought 3 of them, and used 2.5 of the kits. Since I modified one of the kits I had to do some drilling and modifying of one to only have it be 4ft long instead of 8. I know that they also sell a 4 ft version but it has punched holes all along the front of it and that would look very out of place next to 16 ft of solid front rail. These are very nicely constructed, and the white powder coat perfectly matches my white and Platinum new age cabinets. One thing that you need to be aware of is that these are 100pct reliant on proper 16" stud spacing and the shelves must start and stop on a stud as well. There is no latitude of adjustment side to side so you must make sure that your stud layour will allow for these otherwise you will need to get very creative and drill your own holes and such. I used a laser to set mine up and I have a perfect looking 20ft run of them that looks really good. Not cheap but way nice than any 2x4 shelves you would build in their place. Plenty sturdy. Mine are well anchored as they should be, and my 250lb self can hang from the front edge any where along the 20ft, I know because that was my test before I loaded them with totes.!

Good shelves, hardware missing

Overall I am happy with the shelves, they feel well made and sturdy. I purchased Newage cabinets 3 years ago and was so happy with them I had no concerns pulling the trigger on the shelves.

Solid Construction & Easy to Install

Purchased two 2'x8' wall shelves for the garage. Installed the first one with the wife, 2 hours to install, and the second one, solo installed in under an hour. If you have the right tools, then it's easy to assemble. Suggestion: impact drill with socket bit for lag bolts and magnetic pistol level to get your level line in place.

Very well built. Could use a couple tweaks.

I purchased and installed about a month ago. Very fast shipping and the price here was almost half of what they are at Home Depot. These are very well built and sturdy shelves. They look great and installation instructions were some of the best I've ever experienced.

The shelves, once up, are very nice and sturdy. Definitely of a professional grade. They look great and seem like they'll be a permanent part of my garage. They are, however, a very big task to install. I'm not a full-time craftsman, but I'm handy, and installing two of these took me the better part of 8 hours (by myself). The biggest issue is that the back three plates, which have to screw into the center of a stud, are not very forgiving in spacing, so getting them all where they need to be, on studs that may not be exactly 48" apart in your house, can be precarious. I had to completely re-start placing the first shelf after missing the third stud and move the whole shelf up a couple inches. So, be careful, measure a lot, and really define exactly where your studs are before drilling your guide holes. That being said, I'm very satisfied with them as a final product.
