A little bit light weight but for the money they will do the job

I needed eight registers so was very happy to find some that were half the price of the brand carried in-store. I was, of course, worried about quality. However, the quality is great. They are perfect.

Air Flow

The unit is no different than every other one currently on the market. Air flow still comes through the vents even when fully closed so it is only partially effective. I wish I had kept the old rusty one from 1957.

Poorly packaged - result is bent product

It was extremely carelessly packaged, basically just sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard with no padding of any kind. The ends weren't even sealed up properly so one of the corners was hanging out.

The dimensions of this product extend laterally wider by about three quarters of an inch, which misaligns the screw holes of the Register from the vent opening in the wall/ceiling. This can make 2 problems arise,: 1 only a single fastener can be installed with retention and the variable adjustment of airflow can be misaligned against one side of the HVAC vent opening, and in doing so restrict full movement of the external adjustment control.

Works as expected. However:

Perfect to cover the opening, although the screws did not align with the previous holes in my 70-year-old house. It took some work to drill new holes.

good product, but i would suggest that the lever that controls the vents be reconfigured. the 'open' position results in the lever being fully extended away from the register. normal operation is open, so the lever is generally sticking straight out. would be more attractive if 'closed' vents resulted in the lever sticking out.

These vents replaced the old style and are so much easier to control and they look great.

These registers do not fit my current screw placement but are so well made, love the bright white paint that is put on so well also- love these!
