Leak from the tank body after 2 years
Toilet has been great (exceot the seat which was sold with it) but now after less than 2 years I noticed a crack and leaking from the tank. Not sure id there is any warranty.
Nice toilet but NOT white.
Nice toilet but it is absolutely not white. It is off-white at best. I tried discussing this with customer service but I got a yeah well we're changing it one day to be closer to white.
Nice toilet but definitely NOT white.
Toilet is nice and was very easy to install. Came in 2 separate boxes - tank and bowl. If you are looking at this for a white toilet, look elsewhere. It is absolutely NOT white. Maybe off white at best leaning more toward biscuit than white. .
Had to give this toilet a 5-star review. Very important to know that this is little and short and I have now ditched my squatty-potty step stool. My old toilet was a "comfort height" that was too high-lol and my plumber had recommendedit but I am a little lady and found it too high to go number #2. It also has a small/compact footprint and is great in my old house because the bathroom is SMALL. I feel like I have more room there somehow.
Horrible product compared to the cheaper version.
We bought 2 toilets at the same time. We figured it would be smart to spend a little extra on a nicer toilet. Right? Wrong!!! It was double the cheaper toilet, doesn’t flush easily (you have to hold it making the “savings” of water non existent. Do yourself a favor and buy the cheaper Lowe’s brand toilet. This was a waste of money! I would return if I didn’t spend all the time to install it.
This is not Standard Height
Title says Standard Height but it is same as most all other ADA toilets @ 16.5 and higher . The Standard height toilet is 14" to15" and is perfect for my Short Grandmother (just like her old Toilet) but the store thinks everyone is disabled and or 6' tall and it's absurd not to have a short choice available in Elongated bowl and to have the wrong title just adds insult to injury.
Very nice no-frills toilet
These aren't that fancy but they work fine, are quiet, and the water pattern and level seem to be pretty good at keeping the bowl reasonably clean after a "number two". The flushing mechanism is two-stage: brief press is short fill and short flush, hold it longer for when you need a longer flush. The short flush is adequate to flush after "number one" and yet saves water.
Strong and sturdy.
This is a standard height toilet with a 1.1 gpf single flush. It has no bells or whistles and doesn't make you jump through hoops just to impress your neighbors. It is a strong, sturdy, toilet that is made for one thing and one thing only. Remove waste. I am pleased with it and because I didn't opt for bells and whistles, the price was great.
[Rewarded Review] Toilet Upgrade!
I upgraded a toilet in my house that was over 20 years old and this new one just changed the room. It gives me a great new look for my bathroom, plus it is going to save me on my water bills moving to a more efficient toilet. I was worried the low water usage would be a problem, but not an issue with this toilet. I also forgot to mention it was easy to install, which is a must in my books.
Great Standard Height Toilet!
There’s not many choices in standard height toilets these days so I’m glad American Standard makes this one. I replaced a 30 year old relic and I’m glad I did. It flushes instantly, super quiet and uses a fraction of the water compared to the old one. The price was a lot less than the boutique brands. It’s so easy to install that I decided to get another one for our 2nd bathroom. Yeah it’s that good!
[Rewarded Review] Big difference
The old man is actually happy. We got this toilet to replace an old classic toilet from the late 60s. Instead of another rebuild of the antique. We took the risk and went new tech. This is an upgrade in every aspect. No more double flushing. Even though it uses much less water. It's more comfortable to use with the elongated bowl. Easier to clean and stays cleaner. No more seasonal nick nacks falling off the huge rounded tank. No more noise from the leaking fill valve. The plunger found it's way to the closet instead of needing to be next to the toilet. It has become one of the little things that makes life just a little better. It really is worth the money to replace old toilets.

[Rewarded Review] Great toilet
I recently installed this toilet to replace an older 'water saver'. I have not had any issues with it evacuating waste however, it does use quite a bit less water than the old toilet. That is probably a good thing for water usage, but makes me wonder if a backup will occur. The advertisement is it will take down a bucket of golf-balls so time will tell.
[Rewarded Review] Very stylish! Excited to try an Elongated toilet!
I am happy to try an Elongated toilet! I seem to have always had the round ones. Very easy to install for the normal person which I appreciate a lot. I also appreciate the water saving of this toilet. The ever clean surface is a very nice option as well!
[Rewarded Review] Elegant and functional
The toilet came in two boxes, well packed and actually pretty hard to get it out. Love the bright white color, modern look, and smaller tank (than previous toilet) makes the bathroom look newly remodelled and more spacious, when in fact I only changed the toilet. Installation was easy and the flush is amazing. Initially it sounded louder but it's because the previous toilet was older and flush was weaker. Despite the smaller tank, it flushes everything quickly and completely; hold the lever down a bit longer to make it really clean the bowl, which my teenage son likes, but I like the water saving feature instead, so I guess, it's a win-win situation.

I purchased two of these toilets to put in a rental condo, to replace old worn-out ones. This model doesn't come with a seat included, nor the wax ring and bolts. Those must be ordered separately. Just as well I suppose, in the case of the seat, because that meant I could purchase a seat with a slow-close type lid for it. Just be aware that those items are going to add a bit to the overall cost. Also, one reason I chose this model, after reading lots of reviews, is that the web page showed a diagram displaying a new, somewhat revolutionary and different type of valve and flush system which intrigued me. However, the actual product that arrived does NOT have that type of equipment as shown; rather it is the simple, common old-fashioned type. That was very disappointing. Nevertheless, the toilet so far does seem to work fine, though I only used it a few times myself. It is very quiet and efficient, and my contractor said that the installation was easy, no problems or difficulties. Hopefully the tenant will not have any problems or complaints and it will last a long time. We'll see. The height is comfortable (for me at least, I'm a 66-year old male, 5'10" and 225 lbs). The tank is relatively small, so if you're working with a tight space, this model might be a good choice for you.

I was a little concerned that the low-flow (1.1 gal./flush) feature would accomplish the obvious task, but as others have also remarked, it DID effectively flush the bowl's solid waste. I was able to Install pretty easily and successfully, and the directions were thorough and easy-to-follow. The price was much lower than a comparable Kohler or Toto and I feel the quality of this unit competes with those two brands. I do recommend using the Fluidmaster "No Wax" adapter if, as in my situation, the floor under the toilet is porcelain tile and it's finished height is even with the top of the installed toilet flange.

The description is a bit deceptive: the "flush volume" can be adjusted to anything from less than 1 gallon to more than 1.6 gallons. My tenant said he had never seen any toilet flush as quickly as this one. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED by the fact that the fill valve is NOT "LEAK SAVER". The additional cost to the factory would be less than 5 cents, yet each (however slow) leak-down due to the (eventual and inevitable) failure of the flapper will cost the consumer 5-15 cents (in the New Orleans area) for each unintended refill.

Just purchased and installed three of these toilets. Looks very nice, tank is narrower that old American Standard units. Setup was a breeze and flush is powerful and complete. All three were absolutely level, unlike some cheaper brands. Will purchase one more, soon. After much study, this was the best option with standard height seat. Very happy with look and quality.

After researching many many toilets I decided to go with this one. It only uses 1.1 gal per flush. the way the tank is designed it has a float to allow only 1.1 gal to flush, however as we all know that's not a lot of water for "number 2" most of the time. As with most toilets with low gpf they get clogged a lot. I still have clogged this one from time to time. but the big difference is that inside the tank it doesn't have a tube covering the outlet water to keep it at 1.1 gal, JUST the float, so by holding the handle down, you can use a lot more water to flush IF you need to. Options are yours as to how much water you use. But more or less most of the time you will only need 1.1 gpf. Toilet sits at nice height (im 6ft) for me but also is good for my wife at only 5.2ft. I have been using it since 3/4/17 and couldn't be happier with my choice, I went ahead and bought a 2nd one to put in other bathroom. They are a little more money, however you do get a $40 rebate from socal water smart program. so not too bad. Hope this helps. Happy Flushing!
