pretty but small

I purchased this cabinet to make a coffee station in my new home. To my disappointment, it was smaller than expected once assembled. I could barely fit our large coffee pot and a single cup pot on the shelf together. It is hard to add water to either as the shelf doesn't have much space in height either. It is a pretty little shelf but I expected more for my money.

Beautiful cabinet

It was shipped & arrived quickly. Unfortunately one piece was broken but it’s on very back so not seen so I glued it. Because I didn’t find it until over half assembled. And my bottom doors I can’t get one level no matter what I’ve tried.

Assembles well, might need extra glue. Real cute.

Went together well. Instructions were mostly good with a few confusing instruction points. Also the glue was totally dried up but luckily I had some of my own, and two screws were missing for the doors but I just used what was left over, included as extras I assume. All in all I did it on my own and it worked out nicely. Love the cabinet, it’s super cute.

Great stand

We really like it, but it took about 2 1/2 hour with 2 people putting it together. The instructions were pretty clear and all the parts were marked. It has lots of room for storage. We actually kept the back off where we put the microwave, as our microwave was a little bit too deep.

I dislike the quality it was not what l had expected. This was a replacement from Walmart that l bought a few years ago. The look of material seem to have same work as real wood. For that reason l want to return it.

It's a two person job for sure if you want it built within a few hours, and having an electric drill helps a lot. There were one or two places where the guide didn't quite match what we were given, but it's fairly intuitive and comprehensive regardless. it's a solid enough object for particle board furniture. I wouldn't store china in it, but it's perfect for pots and pans so if it topples it won't break anything but its own self. Weighed down, it's surprisingly sturdy. It doesn't look too cheap for what it is, I definitely own worse looking stuff, but it certainly doesn't resemble real wood either. the magnets on the shutters and the glass are a nice touch. Everything arrived intact despite the box looking beat to all heck. the manual says they'll send you replacements of anything is missing or busted, and cautions you not to return it. Neat, but I'm glad we didn't have to do that. With as much glue as it requires you to use in building it, it is certainly not deconstructable for moving, but i don't know that it would survive being transported

overpriced piece of crap

the description and photos of this item i feel are not truly accurate. it is cheap pressboard, not wood. the back is flimsy as mess. many of the pieces don't line up properly. i dont see how this is supposed to be weight bearing at all, especially not as much as it claims. when you bump into it, it falls apart and wobbles like crazy. also, whoever put it in the box had greasy fingers from lunch or something because there are grease stains everywhere. i am glad i bought this on sale, however i would not have even paid what i did if i had known just how terrible it is.

Get What You Pay For I guess

Not super happy with this cabinet. One of the cabinets doesn't line up good. There are places missing some paint. There is one piece that is warped and painted over. The drawer catches really bad. The price wasn't too bad, but now I see why. It took forever to put together. I'm thinking 4 hours.

Pretty good

Decent. Some of the pieces were damaged including the finish on the drawer front. They werent damaged in transit - the finish was marred in production so that was disappointing. You absolutley need two folks to put this together and move it. It takes some time but the directions are clear. It did not have the hole cover and im not using it for a microwave so that is not ideal. I hid some of these issues with wallpaper as I dont have time to wait on replacements with this thing disassembled all over my home . For the price I feel like there could be a bit more quality control.

Cute hutch with a couple of minor issues.

Great, cute, little hutch. Had all pieces. Fairly good instructions, though cannot figure out how to install the little clips on the back, and there is no instruction on this - just says to do it, and has arrows ona diagram showing*where* to put them. One glass door frame is cracked through. (the wood, not the glass) Will seek replacement. Took husband about 7 hours to build, with my assistance, at times. Backing has scratches and one big ding. Everything else is fine. (except for that cracked glass door frame.) Though, the particle board within each piece looks like they are old, and some as if they have absorbed moisture at some point. Hoping it holds up! Overall, it is OK and a cute addition to my kitchen for storing serving dishes, etc., though maybe a tad overpriced for the quality.

Good instructions

We are very happy with our purchase. Was not hard to assemble, as the instructions were very clear. The pieces were individually numbered and used in that order in the instructions. Small parts were clearly labeled with letters on the packaging and in the instructions. We spent 4 hours assembling, as we read instructions carefully and took our time making sure everything was correct. The quality was good for kd furniture. No cracks or scratches. Everything lined up correctly when assembling.

Unfortunately for $200, this product is cheap. We were going to return it when we opened the box and saw that pieces were chipped and not properly painted, but we hoped once we put it together we wouldn't see those flaws. We do, but the one-star review is because it's cheap. It wobbles, the track for the drawer isn't aligned correctly, and all the knobs turn because the pre-drilled screw holes were too big. Honestly, IKEA has better quality materials (wood and hardware).

Looks great, once assembled

This was quite a project to put together. Although the product notes say it's fully assembled, I was expecting it wasn't, as one of the reviews stated it took them a long time to put it together. Took me 5-6 hours, but thanks to double-header Sat. NFL and a couple of tall margaritas, I prevailed. The 3 small pouches of glue provided wasn't enough. I could have used another 2-3 little pouches (wood pins need the glue). Also I didn't realize a couple of the wood pins were meant to be smaller diameter for the drawer assembly. Also instruction drawings for magnets were hard to discern orientation. I ended up with the lower doors magnet being on top of the cross board instead of under it. If I could have seen proper orientation, it would have just been a matter of turning that board 180 degrees before securing all the hardware. Error wasn't noticed till final door assembly. Had to undo the screws on magnet and redo them below cross board. Also, doors for top and bottom don't match up perfectly. But well enough for looks and usability. . . All that said, it still was a pretty good job of engineering the whole assembly for a layperson to put it together. And I'm still happy with the results. Will be my drink station at my Cabo condo.

Great for small places

I purchased this buffet because it was on the smaller side. I was very impressed when I finished putting it together. The instructions were very clear and easy to read. It gives detailed instructions to assemble. I have a hard time putting things together but this was easy. Just know when you open the box that there is a ton of pieces but if you are orginized it is a breeze. My husband expected me to ask him for help. He was only needed when I had to put the top and bottom together. I am very impressed how big the drawer is. The only issue I see in the future is you can't put a lot of weight into the drawer. The bottom of the drawer doesn't look like it can hold a lot of weight. My husband at first didn't understand why I purchased a white hutch, but after it was put together he saw the reason. It is a stunning little buffet.

Great instructions

Definitely set aside an afternoon to assemble this. It takes a long time, but we were never confused by the instructions. Most materials came with a label that corresponds to the assembly guide. A few weren't labeled, but it was obvious where they belonged. My only complaint is that you must be gentle with the cabinet doors, especially the top cabinet, or one will open when you shut the other. We weren't able to get the doors perfectly aligned or able to get them to close without feeling a bit of tension. Part of this is probably due to the fact that we are not experienced with installing hinges and doors. We had to tinker with the tightness of the screws and position of the door a few times for it to be satisfactory.
