[Rewarded Review] Great Idea for acrylic paint storage

I love these paint bins. I just sit them on my table up against the wall. They stack easily. I can see all the colors at a glance.

I have tried several different methods for all of my paint. Although some worked ok I still wasnt happy. I found these and have bought 6 and they are wonderful!! I can see every color without problems and I have them all grouped together at the front of my table. I may order one or two more for any overflow i have..Highly recommend..Worth the price!!

[Rewarded Review] Solid but still smells

Maybe it's just a handful of people that get one of these that smells horribly of formaldehyde. Certain batches maybe? Have had for 6+months. Was aiming to use for my gel food coloring bottles but can't store it in any enclosed space without the whole closet reeking of chemicals. Am keeping it in my craft room-hasnt made the room smell but the tray itself still smells. Got a 2nd star only because it is solid. Outer paint hasn't chipped at all. Just wish I could store it with the rest of my baking items without worries of edibles being permeated with the smell of formaldehyde.

These are just what I was looking for! They are perfect for all my paints. I can see the colors I want and organize them by color. Did I say ALL my paints? I have to buy 2 or 3 more of these because have sooo many bottles of paints. Karen D.

[Rewarded Review] Paint storage

I love these paint storage bins, they fit the acrylic paint bottles I use just perfect! I have several of them in my paint room! I have recommended them several times in the paint club I am in too!

Unuseable, terrible smell.

The paint storage reaked. I am pretty sure it was a formaldehyde smell. I tried airing it out for 48 hours in the garage and it still had a horrible smell. I threw two of them out. If I buy Art Bin again I will only buy their plastic containers.

Piece of JUNK. Don't buy. Zero stars.

JUNK! Do not buy. I wish I did not buy it. The pieces do not meet. The corner is cracked--right out of the wrapping. There was no damage to shipping container. Item was defective from factory.

[Rewarded Review] Serves its Purpose

I've ordered this product online and have gotten it in store. I'd definitely recommend if you want it, to pick it up. The paint is less chipped (see the pictures for the bottom tray's corners), and the compartments aren't as bendy. If your compartments aren't straight, I'd recommend removing them and rearranging them. It helped with mine.

Good Product, but horrible smell!

I have not been able to use in my craft room for paint storage because of the horrible smell. I bought 2 ArtBin Paint Storage Boxes and they have been outside on my porch for a week, but still smell horrible. Will work well once I can use them inside.

Just what my large studio needed

I already have 9 of these in every section and room of my studio ( office painting drawing designing etc) and find I could use two more. I always keep an empty one next to me when using watercolors or colored pencils so I can keep the ones currently in use handy. Makes it easier when finished to put them away. These are less expensive then my having to take time to make my own sorters

Strong odor

When I first opened the items and placed them in my studio they gave off a strong odor that made it impossible to work in the room without developing a headache. Even after airing these trays outdoors for several days they continue to have a strong chemical odor. I can't see how I'll be able to use them indoors.

Can't use it yet! Caustic smell

I have not been able to bring this into the house yet! What ever it was painted with is so caustic, it can not come in the house. When I first received it, I unwrapped the plastic seal and thought WOW that stinks. But, I thought it would dissipate in a few hours. The next day my entire top floor smelled like a chemical factory! My husband took it outside to see if it would get better after a few days. Well, it's been more than a week and I'm not sure it will ever be able to come into the house. Maybe I will wash it with vinegar to see if it goes away!. Neat looking thing. But, so far unusable. It's a shame

Good idea, mediocre implementation

Ordered these for craft paints for my gelli printing units. Perfect idea, but material seems flimsy in the dividers. Paint application is shoddy inside. WORST of all is the SMELL! I can smell the odor down my hallway.

I originally had this on the wall for watercolor tube organization but then needed something to consolidate all the drawing pencils, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, gel pens, markers, etc. I now use as well. Scissors fit as well. I am buying another one for the other side of my computer and will organize all water based items on one side and drawing pencils and markers on the other. All will be in easy reach. Doing so much more art than I used to. Now I use a shoe box for my watercolor tubes....

AMAZING!! GOOD STURDY

Amazing storage find! I was looking for GREAT storage for my acrylic paints and while visiting Joannes for other storage needs I saw this and it was PERFECT, LARGER than it shows online I love love love it and has since ordered another. It hangs, lays flat or stands JUST AWESOME STRONG CUTE

Will build it next time

I ordered two of these because I needed to start organizing my studio. The boxes seem sturdy, however, they look and feel cheap. The paint/wood is cracking on several corners on both boxes. Thus far, this seems to only affect them cosmetically for me. I do not have these hung, so I chose not to use the included kit for that. My husband and I decided that we would just build or 3D print anything similar for future needs as this was not worth the cost, even on sale (let alone at full cost).

Ordered two but one is unusable

I ordered two of these boxes a few weeks ago and received one right away, the other was on backorder. I liked the first box and was glad I ordered two. The other came yesterday but when I opened the package there was a horrible chemical odor to it. I noticed some of the slots inside were covered in a sticky yellow residue and had to take it apart to clean it. I scrubbed it down several times with soap and water to get the gunk off but it didn't help. Usually I'm not super sensitive to smells but it was so bad that I ended up having to take it out to the garage.

I bought 2 of these paint storage trays and ordered 2 more! It's so nice to have them all in one area and able to see the paint colors so easily. Organizing my paints was one issue I was having and these help so much! Great quality, and I love he white color.

Works well for Faber Castell Pit Artist Big Brush pens

I was looking for a better way to organize and store my Faber Castell pit artist pens with the big brush within my large art bin. This has worked out perfectly. I can fit 4 of the big brush pens in each slot so I am able to more easily organize my pens by color. I originally got the large art bin with a few marker inserts so that my markers could remain on their side when I place the bin up on its side so this allows me to do the same with the big brush pens without them falling around everywhere.
