Perfect size for small kitchen and looks beautiful. Very functional and holds a lot of items. Sturdy and yet surprisingly easy to put together. Did the whole cart in less than 20 minutes and there were a lot of parts. Highly recommend this cart.

Nice cart with easy assembly. Good for storing items on the bottom & you can adjust the height of the racks to your liking. The cutting board on top is also a really nice color & can pop out if needed. Only thing I didn’t like was that one of the sides of the cutting board was damaged & a piece for assembly came broken. Luckily I was still able to put it together. I would recommend this if you need a little more room in the kitchen but don’t want something taking too much space.

Great little card! Is being used for holding our microwave in our kitchen with limited counter space. Enjoy the butcher block top for meal prepping, and we have used the hooks on the side to hold our oven mits and measuring cups! We adjusted the top sliding shelf to be just enough space to store our sheet pans and trivets. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a compact storage option for the kitchen!

My kitchen counter space was/is practically non-existent! This cart is the perfect height to sit next to my stove to easily move cut pieces of food from the cutting board to the frying pan. It was very easy to assemble and adjustable to fit any array of utensils or appliances. The locking wheels work but still have a little movement. (Not enough to take away a star!) I recommend!

Easy to put together, very strong and sturdy. Easy to roll. Plenty of room for Toaster Oven on top, second slide out shelf PERFECT for large bread machine. Still room on lower shelf for extra sheet pans, etc. Able to wheel into large pantry and take out only as needed....no counter space taken....100% satisfied.....would definitely recommend.

Total Satisfaction With This Cart

I purchased this same Whitmor kitchen cart with sliding shelf back in the very early 2000s, and have been totally pleased with it. It has been through a house move and is used to this day to hold my lift-bowl Kitchenaid stand mixer. The cart is sturdy, even when the mixer is running. Because my cart is pushing 20 years old and is as good as new, I highly recommend this product.

Beautiful kitchen cart at a great price! I looked at SOOOOO many carts before deciding on this one and I'm so glad I picked this one. The butcher block top is beautiful, the pull out shelf, hanging hooks on the side, and spacious bottom shelf are really nice extra touches. My husband uses this as a coffee cart, so he's just delighted with all of it. He can store all his coffee equipment and accessories in one place. Great purchase!

I purchased this cart for my daughter and she really likes it. I was thrilled that it shipped early, as she was really needing it for her microwave. She put it together this morning and she texted me photos of the cart. There is a chip on the wood. The first photo is the microwave on the cart and the second photo is chip in the wood. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and do hope there might be some kind of credit for the damaged wood.

It was exactly what I was looking for for my small apartment with very little counter space. I am planning to use it as extra prep space when cooking and as added storage. I think it adds a cute unfinished, yet clean, look to a kitchen. I also love how easy it is to wheel around to where I need it. My only complaint is that it can be frustrating to put together because I had a hard time getting my shelves positioned just right and leveled. Overall, I would recommend this and you cannot beat the price! I know this is something that will hold up for a long time as well.

I like the cart. I purchased because the description said would hold up to 250 lbs and I needed something to hold my microwave, toaster oven and toaster. I like the fact that it has wheels; however I cannot get the wheels to lock satisfactorily. It is kind of wobbly when I open my microwave and because I can't get the wheels to lock, I keep having to reposition the cart. I have the microwave on the cutting board top and the toaster oven on top of the microwave and the toaster on top of the toaster oven. I won't put anything other than light items on the pull out shelf. Just using the two shelves for a little extra storage. If I had to do it all over again, I would purchase this cart.

Well made and sturdy

Whitmor has always been know for well made products and this cart fills the bill well. Easy to assemble, even for one person. I assembled this myself in about 20mins. Very sturdy once assembled. Some mentioned having issues with the second shelf which pulls out. I had no problems with this, but if you find the rolling shelf not moving easily, use just a drop or two of mineral oil and it should fix the issue. My kitchen has very little counter space and this cart has made my kitchen a joy to work in now. I keep the top cutting board area as a work space while fixing meals. I have my deep fryer on the rolling shelve and my bread maker and crock pot on the bottom shelve. Very sturdy cart, well made!! Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it!!!

outstanding unit

This cart is very sturdy and high-quality, as are any of Whitmor's similar products. Easy to assemble once you understand the concept. Just make sure both black half-circle clips are pointed "up" when you attach 4 for each shelf. They can be easily removed and relocated, too. The slide-out shelf was a little stiff to slide out, but a quick wipe of mineral oil on the sides while it was extended quickly solved that.

Perfect Size

Bought this for my small guest cottage that has limited counter space. Assembled the cart, placed it near my small range and moved the microwave to the cart, as well as other counter top items, freeing up much needed counter space. Quality is excellent, assembly a snap and can't beat the price. I did need to gently tamp down the corners of the shelves using a rubber mallet to seat them. I also applied lubricate to the small rollers on either side, top and bottom, of the pull out shelf, as well as the casters, to insure smooth operation. Very pleased with both the design and utility.

Convenient, Great Concept, OK Quality

I bought this to use while camping (under an awning) at a seasonal site at a campground. The top shelf (board) is at the perfect height to hold my Camp Chef propane oven/stove, which weighs approximately 32 #s. The sliding middle shelf is for the plates, napkins, cups, & utensils. I positioned it to allow for just the right clearance for all of the aforementioned items while maximizing the space on the bottom shelf. The bottom shelf will be for small appliances and misc. other items.

Just moved into a beautiful funky forties flat with counter space limited to small sink area. I use this cart for my toaster/ convection oven on top, a tray of extra utensils on the slide out shelf & lazy susan on bottom shelf for olive oil, etc. It is placed between the stove and sink. It is wobbly so I only roll it to clean the floor. The hooks are holding 2 small saute pans & lids nicely. I wish it was more sturdy but it is a space & cost solution. The design is a great multi tasker. Assembly was a snap. The cutting board top has the oven on top so I use a cutting board across an open drawer as one more space saving trick.

Extra Shelf $14 / Excellent Customer Support!

I found that the slide out shelf was smaller than the stationary shelf, consequently, the item I meant to put on that shelf didn't quite fit. I called Whitmor's customer service department (1-888-944-8667) and was able to order an additional stationary shelf for a little over $8 for the shelf plus $5 shipping. What pleasant people! BTW, the slide out shelf would have worked if I had been able to install it upside down, but the corner holes on the shelf that accommodates the four poles that grab the shelves is slightly smaller at the top than the bottom, so the shelf wouldn't have fit the poles (plus sleeves) properly, perhaps even allowing the shelf to slip down the poles. Another thing perhaps worth mentioning, the slide out shelf has a one inch lip, which would have interfered with the door of the toaster oven I had intended on putting on that shelf. I would have had to put a one inch thick piece of wood or something to hold the oven up high enough to ensure the ability to open its door without hitting the shelf edge's lip.

just what I needed

I wanted a cart to use as a coffee station due to limited counter space. I made the mistake of buying one made of wood with cheap plastic wheels. Upon assembling (which took an entire hour) one of the cheap wheels broke. The company was really dragging their feet about getting me a replacement so I returned it and saw this cart at WalMart.com.

Multi use cart

I give this item a 3 star because the dimensions on are misleading. The width and depth of the cart are 1 to 1 1/2 inches less than what is advertised on the box & on the website! The width states it is 22 1/2 inches wide, when it really is only 19 1/2 inches wide. The depth states that it is 16 inches deep, when it really is only 15 inches deep. This was a critical issue for us as we were using the cart to hold our small refrigerator. Luckily, our frig still sat on the stand with no problem. This is an issue that needs to be addressed by the manufacturer immediately. Overall, the stand went together easily, and seems to be sturdy enough for our use.
