This filter housing is of excellent quality with thick, sturdy construction and brass connectors. The clear plastic material allows you to visually see how dirty the filter is and determine when filter replacement is needed. Quality O-rings ensure no leakage, an essential feature in anything involving plumbing.

I was surprised to see 2 gaskets and was skeptical about leaks. This big blue is the easiest I have had to install with very little lube. I really like the 2 gaskets for a leak free seal. Very well made.

Purchased for cabin with well. Have spin down sediment filter with 4.5 sediment filter and 4.5 charcoal filter. Works awesome just make sure you use pipe dope with Teflon tape if you don't want leaks with install. Water is clear and sulfur smell in water is gone. I like to support local business but simpurelife was 1/2 the price so it was no brainier.

I bought this for a house that runs on a well and didn’t have any filler. It was easy to install. I used shark bite fittings to install it to my 1” PVC line. The fittings were a little expensive but made installation that much easier. It’s been in place for just a week and with the clear housing you can easily see how much the filter is catching.

Very easy install. Love being able to see my filter and where the sediment levels are. It isn't the best deal, but it seems worth the money.

Be sure you understand you need to buy your own couplers which can be brass and are relatively expensive.

This filter is more substantial than other similar filters I tried. The plastic is stronger and heavier. Unlike the other filters, the inlet and outlet have brass threads rather than plastic threads. The clear plastic bowl is made of thicker plastic and the threads at the top are double the number of threads used for other similar filters. I used a hand held pipe cutter and two press to fit brass pipe fittings and had this filter installed in 20 minutes. No leaks.

This product is a solid, well-made product, should last for many years. I had one tiny infrequent drip after re-installing the cap a few times, so I contacted customer support. And of course after contacting them, the leak stopped (and continues with no leaks). Customer Service rep responded immediately (a very good sign for future purchases from me.) She said she would send me an extra O-ring anyway. This is another company with good products that understands value of good customer service.

Unit seems solid. Wait to see at first filter change. Unit came with two rolls of teflon tape , small red cap, screw with washer on it and small spring. Extra relief valve parts ? Not on parts list.
