Color on website does not match the actual color. Wife not happy. Color is much darker and cherry red.

Beautiful well made bed. Delivery and set up with White Glove was great.

Looks great and quality seems good. More space than expected all around the box spring (between the frame and box spring)

The bed is beautiful. However, it only has 4 slats. Despite the fact that the description says no box spring needed, 4 slats are not enough to support a mattress. The mattress sags between the slats, and our mattress is only 12" deep (not exceedingly heavy). This will damage the mattress over time.

Update changing my rating from 5 to 3 stars. It still is a beautiful bed, but the pegs underneath for the kind size bed have all come off of the frame. I don’t know if it is because we shifted the bed slightly when putting a rug in the room, but it’s concerning that it was so easy for all of the support pegs (can’t think of a better word for the short wooden legs that attach to the middle slates for the kind size frame). The bed still has held up but I’m concerned it’s going to collapse if the kids get overly aggressive when jumping on the bed. If you don’t intend to shift your bed or are getting a smaller frame it should be fine, but just be warned the support pegs are flimsy.

It's a nice piece of furniture. But, the directions for assembly are really bad. There are 5 shelves. One is labeled "1." Three are labeled "2." And one is labeled "3." The directions indicate the number 2 shelves go in between the bottom and top shelf. However, the number 2 shelves are not all the same and they must be used in a very specific order. The shelves need to be labeled correctly and the instructions need to state which goes where. We disassembled and reassembled the shelves several times before we were able to figure it out. It was very frustrating.

This bed REALLY needs more slats than just 4. Unless you have a box spring under your mattress, you’re going to experience sagging in your mattress wherever the slats aren’t. This isn’t awesome for sleep and truly disappointing for such a pricey purchase.

We purchased the Cal King and a beautiful and solid wood piece that was easy to put together. We added a 9” box spring and have a 10” purple mattress on top; this gave a good height and I would recommend no lower then 18-20” because then you would see the non decorative slat on the headboard.

Bought this with matching nightstands and dresser. Really nice looking and so far has held up well. Did have to assemble, but was able to put together easily by myself. (Have had a ton of experience assembling furniture and this was, by far, one of the easiest.) My only "beef" is I wish there wasn't as much extra space between the sides of the mattress/boxspring and the frame. There's probably an inch or so all around. Also, the legs stick out a little bit and I keep running into them. I just need to get used to the dimensions and remember not to cut the corner around the bed so much. My fault, not the bed frame's fault!

I ordered this bed because in the bedroom, the bed had to go under the window based on the room design. I wanted something that would let the light through. I ordered a king and it arrived in great shape. This was my first purchase on Wayfair and I have since ordered additional things from here and Union Rustic. I haven't had an issue with any of them. The bed it true to the color and look in the picture.

Damaged, Difficult Assembly

Table top corners are damaged, chipped, and peeling away. The stools are very difficult to assemble and not sturdy. Total waste of $485!

The bed came and was shipped in three separate boxes. Headboard, Footboard, and the side panel pieces (+ hardware, slats, etc.). Took no time at all to assemble and it feels very solid. I specifically wanted a solid wood bed that was sturdy and reliable but didn't stylistically feel "heavy" and this surely fit the bill. It works great in my space and the wood color and tone is beautiful. Would recommend.

Easy to assemble and looks very sleek in our room. Originally, we wanted the non-panel headboard but now that we have this one, I love it. The panels feel less bulky and keep the room looking spacious.

We’re 24 hours in to using this bed and just about all of the support legs are crooked, bent, or have fallen out of the slats. There are not enough slats to support a box spring and a mattress. For that matter, the product description needs to clearly state that a box spring is needed with this bed frame. We did not have a box spring and had to run out and purchase one at the last minute after we built the bed and realized a box spring was needed. Very disappointed in the poor quality and flimsiness of this bed. Looks good though, I guess, so 2 stars for style?

Classy bed, top notch delivery

Love this bed. Tried to buy it from another site and had so many problems, Coleman was great - they communicated with me along the process. The delivery company was professional, and did a quick clean job of putting it together! 5 stars for them. Bed is beautiful and sturdy, perfect for our mid century design!!!

the best no-hassle furniture purchasing experience

I recommend you guys to my friends always. I purchased this bedroom set except for the 4 drawer chest. it was prior assembly and the delivery guys used blankets to move them in. They were very friendly as well. Quality is also perfect, very beautiful set. I can say I am picky customer but i enjoyed Coleman so much. I am newly wed and tried brand name store bought furniture and those big online shopping malls... but Coleman can't be beaten. The only drawback for me was the long wait to get the set but well i am satisfied anyhow, because any other furniture I bought online arrived late. So no problem. The chat service is also very helpful, they are friendly and gave me all the information I needed.

This bed is BEAUTIFUL. Very high quality solid wood, and easy to assemble. I had been looking for the perfect bed for a long time so I’m happy I finally ordered this. The bed comes in 3 packages and is pretty heavy, but Wayfairs delivery team was great and even carried them up 3 flights of stairs. Couldn’t be happier!
