Complete junk - I should have read more reviews
Vanity arrived quickly and needed to be put together. I guess I hadn’t read the listing well, but had faith in Home Depot. My mistake. DO NOT BUY THIS! Arrived broken, but with epoxy and wood glue I tried to fix broken parts. Too hard to get everything back in the box so I figured I could fix it. Biggest problem is it is really poorly made and predrilled holes are too big for screws supplied so drawers literally fall apart. With longer screws and wood glue I fixed that issue, but screws on side of drawers are too small. Overall design is good, but quality of chipboard and assembly parts are terrible. I am close to finishing assembly and will probably throw out and go to a cabinet store and start over with ready-made. Do not make the same mistake I did. It’s junk.
Nice Bathroom Cabinet
This cabinet looks pretty simple but with a marble top it ended up with a really elevated looks. My powder room is small so it was hard to get a shot of the whole cabinet. It does stain easily, my toilet cleaner left a mark and it was impossible to get out. So maybe not good for an high traffic bathroom but our powder room isn't used much. Other than that it served a purpose and I would recommend.
Vanity
Well the instructions on the website say that the drawers, they are to be put on the right, cannot be moved. Well my contractor moved them to the left side and it works. I did not know that the drawers when you shut them about an 1" they will close authomatically. Same with the doors.
Good value
Broken frame. Filed a complaint and zero response. Don’t buy
Assembled fairly easy despite less than adequate directions. After completed, the cabinet doors have a significant gap despite multiple hinge adjustments. We will have to add a strip of wood to “hide” the gap.
Love it. Sturdy and durable.
This product comes with a huge poisonous warning sign on it. I tried to return this to Wayfair and they told me I would have to pay for return shipping, which would be 756.86. The return shipping is purposely made so expensive that you will not return the product. They want to charge the shipping cost, which is double the cost of the actual product. I think it’s time to give them a rating on the better Business Bureau. This is not Customerservice! Shame on Wayfare first for selling a poisonous product and secondly for not accepting the return and paying for shipping themselves. Besides the fact that the product has to be put together entirely because it comes in pieces. I have purchased several vanities over the years and have never had to put them together.I will never purchase from Wayfair again.
Not pleased with the vanity base. The box it came in was all beat up and looked like it was a return which was retaped and sold to me. It came with impact damage to the right side wall not attributable to shipping, the screw in “feet” were missing and the bottom drawer mounting holes for the closing slides were drilled too high so the drawer will not close as it is mounted too high to fit the opening!!! Decent quality for the price but would NOT recommend buying it. Too much hassle to get it to work properly and be useable!!
Vanity arrived safely packed. Was not too difficult to put together. Needed some reinforcement in the corners as the top being used was thick granite. Probably would have worked just fine without the reinforcement if a lighter countertop was being used. Overall, a nice product for the money.
This purchase was a mistake.
The product information did NOT say that this would have to be assembled which added time to the renovation man's schedule. He said that it came together as the instructions said but took extra time that he had not anticipated having to do. I would not have purchased it had I thought it had to be assembled.
I read other reviews of this vanity and they weren’t very good. There were complaints of inferior materials, difficult directions and holes didn’t line up. I found NONE of these problems. I am a 77 year old female and, other than having someone to help me hold large pieces, put this together myself. I thought the directions were quite clear as long as you paid attention. Every piece was clearly marked as were the bags of screws. Everything lined up perfectly. The only thing I added was glue for added stability. The vanity is just what I wanted. I am very happy with the finished product.
Product arrived on time. Several quality issues with the product as we assembled it. The wood pegs too small and kept falling out during install. One of the drawer rails was bent and ball bearings fell out—we were able to reinstall these and secure them in place. The website pictures showed two back support boards included in the final configuration installed from one end to other end. Ours did not have that so we had to purchase and install those as vanity is rickety w/o these back boards. Still awaiting my quartz countertop install on this vanity, hopefully no weight/support issues arise—product not super stable.
5 Stars
I recommend this vanity. It was easy to assemble. Although I did assemble the floor base and put it in backwards. That is the only thing I would complain about.", i didn't want to take it all apart to change one piece, wish it was painted on both ends so it would fit both ways. I like the added height this vanity gives, no more bending over to wash your hands.
Great purchase
I have this cabinet for 5 years. Still good quality, worth buying
Pricey -- it's cheap and difficult to assemble
Product info did NOT say assembly required. That said, it was difficult to assemble. Drill holes did not line up. Two different sets of instruction with material lists that didn't match. Took hours to assemble and required a trip to the hardware store to buy dowels that actually fit and a drill to enlarge bolt holes so the cabinet could be assembled.
Very difficult to put together. Screws were mislabeled. Incorrect kind of hardware that does not fit and wrong finish. Diagrams not very helpful or accurate. I like the cabinet but the drawers dont work now. It took 2 college educated people 4 hours to put it together nonfunctional at this point
Quality control issues
I didn’t even bother to assemble this cabinet. Out of the box, there were gaps in the finishing caulk around the trim pieces on the door and drawer fronts. Even if I’d wanted to turn the fronts upside down to hide the gaps, not possible, because there were gaps on other sides as well. Basic quality control problem. Disappointed. And returned.
I really like this vanity. The drawer underneath is perfect for holding small items. It was a little difficult to put together. It is a good size. It was easy to find a basin with countertop to fit.
