Wilton 14" round cake pan

Wilton pans are all of great quality..I recommend using them when ever decorating a cake for important occasions. How ever this pan is not new it has been used.

Long live 8" round pans and the beauty it creates.

I have been on a baking binge recently. This adds to my baking collection. However, 8" round pans have become difficult to come by. I happened to come across this one and was estastic which was short lived as it is was the only one😔. No big. Wilson is a brand I have used for years. The pan is made as a whole not 2 pieces put together. This makes for even baking and easy clean up.

My, My Apple Cake/Pie!

Used this tin to make a mock apple cake craft. Used apple potpourri with apple slices, and a decorative burgundy checkered cloth liner put in first before assembly. Many compliments looks great, it smells so good and I didn’t even heat up the kitchen! Perfect spot sits on a shelf area for display in my kitchen.

I used these round cake pans from Michael’s for several different things. I have purchased several sets of threes and fours. Set of four for baking the other sets are for different craft that I do along with making myself a storage space with my older round pans that was also purchased from Michael’s

Crumble cake!

I tried to bake in two ways, one with nothing on the pan (nonstick spray, butter, etc.) and another with butter so that the batter wouldn’t stick. Both cakes came out completely messed up. I used a different pan, not from this brand and it worked perfectly. Same batter, same oven, same time, and the cake worked. This pan was not what I expected.

The best cake pan/serving tray/tray for a dresser!

I love this cake pan! I actually used it asa base for a gift bag for my niece's 21st birthday. And I decorated it by painting it with a paint that is for metal in the color she wanted. And now she uses it on her dresser to hold her makeup, hair brush/comb, etc. And I gave her a candle to put in it too. You can do anything with these! So versatile for many creative ideas. Not just for cakes!

Consistency is key!

I am a home baker and have really liked my wilton pans. They bake evenly and aren’t heavy or hard to store. I do wish they nested to maximize space, but I appreciate the consistency in size. They are low maintenance and clean easily. No matter what size or shape pan I know what to expect when baking with Wilton!

MY CAKE CAME OUT ROUND!!!

This is a good pan for round cakes. My pan did have sticker on the bottom of it that I couldn't get off completely and I hesitated about putting in the oven like that. I have the only renovated apartment in the building and would hate to burn it down. I put it the oven anyway and nothing happened.

Wilton cake pans and wilton cake strips

These are the ULTIMATE cake pans!!. I am an avid baker and no other cake pan has come close to these. They are non stick and I love that the sides are straight up and down. I honestly can't say anything bad about these!!! I also just bought the wilton cake strips with these pans and I was SHOCKED at how incredible they kept my cake flat on top!! No cake dome!! Also the sides of the cake stayed nice and soft, no crusty outside edge! OMG thank you wilton!!!!! I am overjoyed with the new purchases. I recommend anything by wilton!!! You guys know what you're doing!!!!

Good Pan for making Byrek (Albanian Spinach Pie)

I ordered this 20-inch round cake pan online to make an Albanian spinach pie recipe called Byrek that my grandmother used to make on New Year's Eve every year when I was a little girl, and the best part was that she would hide a silver dollar wrapped in tin-foil inside it! It was said that whoever found the coin in their piece of pie would have good luck all year. Somehow, I always ended up finding the coin. My grandmother is no longer with us, sadly, but I've been wanting to make her Byrek recipe for New Year's Eve this year. The problem is, the pan that she used was Huge! I remember she used to hang it up on the wall, and it was bigger than me! I'm not sure of the exact measurements, but If I had to guess, I would say it was at least 30" inches round, and 6-8' inches thick. I've been looking for a similar pan for months, everywhere that you would think a larger sized cake pan would be found: Party/wedding supply stores and baking supply stores, with no luck, so I just picked the biggest cake pan I could find for under $25. I'm not going to be using it very often, so I didn't want to spend that much on it. This Wilton pan was the largest round cake pan I could find that was suitable for this recipe, plus it was on sale! I will update my review with some pictures of the Byrek after I make it, if I can.

Cake Pan Becomes Gift Box

This extra large round cake pan also makes a nice utilitarian “box” for wrapping a wedding gift! :) We bought a ceramic bowl at an artisan faire as a wedding gift. The tough thing was finding a gift box to fit the bowl. It was wide but not deep. I ended up putting it in the large round round cake pan, padded it with tissue, and the bowl fit perfectly. I padded the top with lots of tissue, wrapped it, and voila! There are now two gifts! ❤️

The perfect little 6” cake pan

I bought 2 to make 2 layer cakes. The pans are perfect. I grease & flour, and use parchment paper circles, and the cakes bake beautifully, and remove effortlessly. This is the perfect fun size for celebrations when you don’t want leftover cake for days. More than enough cake for 4 people.
