Beautiful piece which is going to make my meals yummy! KaTom was easy to order, pay and shipped well packaged and quickly. They didn't miss a beat on keeping me posted on where it was in transit, exceptional really. I will certainly buy from them again. This is average quality. Nice larger handle and the wok works well, it just seem to get to hot too fast at the bottom regardless of heat temp.

Good Value, Great Wok

I used a carbon steel wok for many years. It had an aluminum lid that vanished when I moved. The best feature about the missing lid was that it did not rust as did the wok. Yes, I coated the wok with oil to hold down the rust but it left a crummy looking wok that, on occasion , was a little sticky and rancid of smell. Stainless leaves those problems behind and this Winco Wok is polished so that it approaches performance found in non-stick ware. This Winco Wok is riveted and I expect a very long life. There is no weld to break.

I'd prefer the lighter one.

Kind of disappointed when opened the box. I like the old one I have better. Too bad it doesn't say what brand it is. Otherwise I will get the exact same one. This wok pan looks a little too big and heavier than my old pan (same diameter though). I would prefer the lighter one in a better shape. However, I haven't used it yet. Might work well.
