Great clock tat did not properly work

The clock arrived well packed, but it was clearly an open box sale as the previous return labels were still partially attached. The clock does not work properly, it chimes but the hour hand does not move. I will have to use a clock repair to fix it. Still, it is a handsome clock

Great as a corporate gift!

Purchased this as a gift for a gentleman outgoing president of an organization. Tt is perfect!

I love my beautiful mantel clock!

I received this clock as a Christmas gift this year. At first I was not as enthused because I assumed the chimes would not sound as beautiful from a battery operated clock. I was wrong! The chimes sound as beautiful as the clock looks, and it has multiple options for volume and frequency. Also much less maintenance than a wind up clock. Highly recommend!

New clock same time.

I got everything expected at a fair price.

I purchased this mantel clock to replace the Astoria Grand that I recently got here at Wayfair. The Astoria clock face is bright and has gold numbers making it hard to tell the time from just 10 feet away. This Howard Miller has a darker clock face with black Roman numerals and I can tell the time from the kitchen which is nearly 30 feet away. This clock is bigger and is also made of wood (thin) and it should because it's four times the price of the Astoria. Both clocks keep time accurately. Where the Howard Miller clock comes up weak is the chimes. They sound anemic compared to the Astoria. I decided to keep both clocks and placed the Astoria Grand in the sports bar room.

Very nice cabinetry. The clock keeps perfect time and the chimes are very lovely.

This clock is beautiful and has such a wonderful chime every hour. If you are looking for a mantel clock, I would highly recommend this awesome clock.

AWESOME

This is an absolutely beautiful clock the workmanship is incredible! I especially like the evening mute function and volume controls. Its chimes sound authentic not electronic. The only negative comment is that the clock is absolutely enormous. I should have read the dimensions more carefully, I know. But if you're looking for a nice, smallish mantle clock, this might be a little large for your tastes. Regardless, I absolutely love it!
