You won't be sorry!

Beautiful set of watercolors that can get you almost anywhere you want to paint. You don't have to be traveling to use them. They work at home, too! The intensity of these colors is deeper than I'm used to. Well worth the purchase!

Nice set. You can use out of the tube for an opaque look, or water down for a sheer metallic wash that you can layer/build up. Very pretty.

[Rewarded Review] Wow! These watercolors REALLY are IRIDESCENT!

As soon as I got an email from Winsor&Newton announcing these new Cotman iridescent watercolors, I searched for a seller online—Michael’s is the first to get them in and I ordered a set right away. As soon as the set was delivered, I painted test swatches and was delighted—each and every color is rich and iridescent. I was thrilled after being disappointed in the past with pencils and pastels that claimed to be iridescent, but weren’t the least bit metallic. This Cotman set is a must-have!

Winsor Newton compact watercolor set

I had one of these for many years but it was lost and I recently bought a new one. It seems to me that the the new one is not as good as the old one I had. Specifically: The two cadmium reds should be slightly different but are identical to my eye. The alizarin crimson is kind of lifleless compared to your own American Journeys. The Chinese white is of little use and should be replaced with another dark such as Paynes grey. You state in the description that to cut costs you sometimes replace expensive paints with cheaper ones. I wonder if this is part of the problem.
