Im really happy with this bedroom set. The bed is great quality and sturdy. Its hard to find a wood bed at this price.

Poor quality bed frame, cheap wood

This bed frame is poor quality, soft pine wood. Purchased the bed frame last year and now already broken. Bottom frame, or pegs are not sturdy and slide all over the place. Not to mention, Home Depot gave me the wrong size (queen size instead of king) when I first purchased it.

Great Bed Purchase Experience

Fedex person delivered the two packages on time and intact, rang my bell. I opened the door and he placed them inside where I then unwrapped the pieces which were expertly packed including the bolts and screws that were labeled and affixed to a cardboard sheet and included a allen wrench. Notably the longitudinal center piece is sturdy wood with four legs versus the prior ikea bed had a metal center piece with no support legs. Also the ikea bed slats had nothing to keep then in place. This thoughtfully designed bed has four screws for each side to affix the slats to the side rails in strategic places to keep the other slats in alignment. Also there is a small rectangular wood piece on the four ends of the side rails to add to the securing of the end slats and thus that of the rest of the slats. Notable and something else the ikea bed didn't have is for preinstalled metal plates and the four corners (head and foot boards) to affix the side rails. Also of note the bolts and their receptacles are of excellent design for installation and tightening. The phillips head screws for the attachment of the eight slats to the side rails are well designed for installation and securing. The only caution is that the color of "oak" on the website is lighter than the actual color but I actually like the slightly darker shade of "oak" better than what is in that picture. Great product and price and all around experience. Also of note though I could of ordered it online, I enjoyed going a short distance to the Raymour & Flanagan store to place the order with Bryant Waters. Nice and heavy quality. The handles are positioned perfectly and the clear lid is added to visual cooking without constantly lifting the lid.
