Not Worth the Price

My husband gave me this as a gift and we have used this slow cooker for a few years. I am disappointed. Cons: silicone gasket on the lid retains odors - to the extent we can smell our last meal upon opening the cabinet. The “low”setting has gotten progressively hotter and now burns our food within a couple hours; we use “medium” and “high” exclusively (this happened on my former slow cooker, a cheap one - but only after 10+ years). Despite careful treatment of the stainless insert, it quickly developed pitting. I called during the 5 year warranty but was told this is “expected wear and tear”; checked again recently and found it’s $250 to replace, and the replacement will only have a 60 day warranty (it’s only sold as an “appliance part” not “cookware”). Pro or Con: the gasketed lid holds in all the moisture - to the extent that I need to leave out most of the liquid called for in any recipe (so I use soup base with no liquid instead of a cup of broth, etc). This could be an advantage for some but for most of my meals, it just means a lot of watery soups or soppy tacos as I refine any new recipes. The only strong pro is the insert works well on induction cooktops for searing meat to start a stew or cooking down on higher heat to finish - a must when recipes come out too wet!

easy to clean

I have only used it once so far, but I made a wonderful chicken stew in it. When I removed it from the cooker, nothing was stuck to the stainless steel. So easy to clean.

Wolf Gourmet slow cooker

I LOVE this cooker…it’s completely worth the price.

Made fantastic pulled pork! This is the easiest and best gadget for the kitchen I have ever purchased! Love it!

Wolf Multi cooker

Was hesitant to purchase this as I couldn’t find lots of reviews and it’s so expensive. I’ve used it twice and I just love it. Today I used the program with the probe and the chicken was baked to perfection. Recipe called for 7 hrs on low. I used the probe on low and it was probably done in half the time. I’m happy to know that I’m using a non toxic cooker. I definitely recommend this cooker.

Love this multi cooker

Perfect sous vide; excellent see (it gets really hot!); and all the normal simmer slow cooker functions.

Wolf Gourmet Multi-Function Cooker

I ordered this wolf gourmet cooker for a Christmas present 3 weeks before Christmas from Williams Sonoma. I received the wrong item twice. Finally, on January 9th the third time of shipment I received the item I ordered.

Delivery very poor

Very poor service, 3 times delivered something completely different than what we ordered. 2 times a coffeemaker and one time a small oven instead the multi-function cooker. The store people tried to make up for it and have not been successful either. Still waiting for the good to be shipped (after almost 1 month !).

I have never been a crockpot fan because if you wanted to brown the meat you had to use the stove and another pan. This crockpot changes everything. It is fantastic, truly. It browns the meat, you can sauté the veggies! It works great. I love it and I don’t have to worry about the inner pots coating chipping or peeling off in a year because of the heavy duty construction. Finally I absolutely love that I can use the inner pot on my induction range if I want to. Fabulous product.

Temperatures are way off

Not only are the temperatures way off on this, but the rubber seal does not last very long not only does it retain the smell of other food, but it also warps and now does not fit on there very well. This is worthless for slow cooking. For the price point this thing should be way more amazing than it is. I’m sick to my stomach that I paid this much for it and I know I won’t get my money back

Need slow cooker sous vide function.

Should have exact temperature settings for slow cooking function. Also, in program mode with meat final temperature…. It doesn’t really work if the meat rapidly acquires the finish temperature.

Silicone Retains Smells

I have used this slow cooker twice. Once for charro beans and once for chicken tortilla soup. Unfortunately, the silicone in the lid retains smells even after washing it thoroughly. And this is after only using this cooker twice. Now the lid smells awful and I don't want whatever smells it retains to transfer to the next thing I cook in it. What a $700 disappointment.

Sharp, looking along with a great top/seal. It cooked a small turkey breast and veggies so good.

I love the slowcooker! The stainless steel insert cleans up so easily. The searing feature works great. The only issue I am having is the meat thermometer doesn’t work. Otherwise it would have been a 5.

Fantastic

This isnt just a Crock pot or any other slow cooker. This does Sous Vide, searing, etc and you can program it to cook how you need to. Going to be gone for the day and need it to change temp? Program it in! And once youve done a steak sous vide, youll never go back!

It boils on warm!

It cooked chicken to 190 degrees on LOW in less than one hour. Don't waste your money. Thank goodness Williams Sonoma has an amazing return policy (full refund within 30 days.)

I recommend this product

So far I have only used the slow cooker and sous vide functions, but it's been excellent. I slow cooked a whole chicken- it turned out great. And the sous code functions cook proteins to perfection

The cooker, so precisely, does exactly what I ask it to do, I?m going to have to up my game. How do I really intend this to be prepared?precise temperature, method, time, etc.?

Rubber lid odor

The rubber on the lid absorbs meat/food odor and the condensation will drip the smell/odor into your next meal. I am currently trying to find a different lid so I can continue to use this expensive crockpot!! I have not been able to use it as much as I want to because of this problem.
