I needed to have easy access to cookbooks. I wanted them on the kitchen shelf and up from the shelf itself to avoid water. The desktop book display is PERFECT.

Convenient way to access books!

Very sturdy and gets my cookbooks up off the counter for easier counter cleaning.

My cookbooks were taking over my kitchen counter and I couldn't find anything sturdy enough to hold them all. This book rack is perfect! The construction is very sturdy and the finish is very easy to keep clean. Best of all -- it came fully assembled. Seemed a little pricey but well worth every cent!

Exactly as described, sturdy, fulfills my need for handy access to references on my desk. Currently holding about 20 books, six of which are substantially-sized texts, and there's room for more. Perfect.

I bought this as somewhere to house my 9 mo old daughter's growing collection of books and it is perfect. I wanted something that would be more flexible than a classic bookcase and this is great. For the moment it sits on the floor in our living room, so she can choose her own book when she wants us to read to her, but I will move it into her own room when she is older. You really can put it wherever you want, I even envision her taking this to college with her! My father made something similar for my grandmother in woodshop when he was a kid and she was still using it to keep her recipe books on when she passed away aged 84!
