Better product than I hoped for. Solid and well made.

The instructions were great. I had to put it together myself so that was not easy but not your fault either. Attaching the prongs on the lid was the most difficult part for me.

Everything I wanted and more! So very happy

It looks real nice but I was disappointed that the man I hired to put it together was unable to install the piece that holds the lid open when in use. As a result one of my cats knocked the lid while I had it open and when it slammed shut the screws came out of the hinges as it was not real wood it was some kind of pieced together partical board or something. So now it is dangerous to open.

We love it. It was easy to assemble. Fits at the foot of our bed perfectly.

Great for storage, easy to put together, nice piece of furniture as opposed to a metal safe, blends right in

We've had our Hope Chest for seven years now and still love it. I was just the right size for the end of our bed. There's enough room to store some extra blankets along with some guns and ammo. The top comes in handy when slipping on shoes.

Good quality

Sturdy Materials, Bad Instructions

Craftsmanship is excellent! Sturdy, real wood. However, the instructions are NOT well written/drawn. And the stickers were placed incorrectly- The “bottom” stickers were pointing the wrong direction and side panels mixed up. Thus, it created lots of confusion as to whether a should follow the diagrams or my own intuition. Not ikea level confusing, but not much better either.

It is of nice quality. I wish the "blanket storage" was a little bigger but it does the job for 1 queen size comforter.

Just what I wanted

The chest is just what I wanted and just what I expected. The finish is great, even inside. Assembly was a bit difficult, but with some patience it worked. But it's not quite long enough for my shotgun, but my 1022 should fit fine. It has blankets and a pillow for now.

Nice hope chest with lots of hidden features. Thanks, just what we were looking for.

Came damaged

Came out of the box damaged. Not at all worth the price I paid for it.

Great Design, average low quality furniture.

The overall design is Great! However, the execution of that design leaves a bit to be desired. The package arrived damaged. One of the end support structures had broken free of the end piece. Partly due to poor handling by shipping company, and partially due to factory missing a nail on the piece. Rather than returning, I chose to fix myself and glue and nail the piece back together. Assembly was fairly straightforward. The quality is average for a furniture piece from ****. Just enough quality to meet the bar, and nothing more. The Design of this piece is perfect! I needed a GunSafe that was unobtrusive. Previously, I've had the safe standing in a corner, or in a closet. Although they protected the contents well enough, they added nothing to the home... or detracted from it.

Drawback labels on parts wrong place, instructions are backwards to how actual put together, side springs don't fit right, however good pros very beautiful,sturdy actual hard wood,not pressboard, chest a bit small for long barrel rifles 8mm mauser will not fit...but very nice concealable, son is very happy with it
