this sand box is made of poor quality. The screws are to small an short to hold the folding part together. it fell apart right away with my son trying to open it. I'm very unhappy with this purchase.

Not quite as closed.

It is what the picture shows, the wood isn't properly cut for the whole thing and it rubs and doesn't close correctly because of that. I had to have my father help me pull up a main board that was already put together because no matter what I did it wouldn't close, so he pulled a glued part down up and drilled it back in and then it closed all the way.

I do not know how none of the other reviews mention how incredibly terrible this is to put together! The directions are vague, at best, and it didn't have enough screws, which, of course, you don't notice until you've got it most of the way together. the wood is soft, and cracks easy. I do not reccomend, and if I didn't dread taking it apart to send back, it'd already be in the mail.

Don't waste your money

It looks cute but is cheaply made. The first time it rained the weight of the water broke the canopy. Wish I hadn't wasted my money.

Great sandbox...no worries about cats peeing init

It’s really nice. Wood not as strong as I thought but perfect for little ones. I love how it closes so no cats can get in! My little one loves it. It’s perfect size. If you live in a colder climate or get snow it small enough to storage in basement and garage until the warmer months.

DO NOT BUY

Horrible material. We’ve had this up for 3 months and it is already falling apart. We always put the top down to cover it rains, but it didn’t matter. The wood has split and scraped my daughters leg, the back fell off, and the middle piece of the top broke in half. My husband plans to build a replica of this out of better materials and we’ll be requesting a full refund!

We love it! I got it for my grand son for Christmas he loved it!

had some dings and scratches.

Purchased this sandbox for my 5 yr old granddaughter... she loved it plenty of room for her cousins... the pull down canopy is a real great idea and sold me on this one... Advise... better directions on assembly... but my son in law had very little trouble but others may have difficulty... also please put in a heavier liner so if the customers ground is a little uneven they wont loose any sand!!!

Good quality, perfect for sand or small pebbles, my kid loves it! We really appreciate its ability to close (so it does not become a nocturnal bathroom to critters) and open (the benches are perfect size). It looks good too so it is not an eyesore In our back yard.
