Nice, substantially built little wren houses. Bought several as gifts. He was kind enough to locate College logos for them, which we appreciated. Would love the option of purchasing as 'direct mount' or 'hanging', but we can manage that ourselves. Thanks a lot!

I thought this was the best-designed wren house at Etsy. The flip-up front will make it easy to clean, it can be securely mounted , and is built of sturdy cedar. I had a bit of trouble finding a tool to drive the square-drive mounting screws but once that was figured out, the job was easy. Oh, and the package was shipped right away.

Put up 2 wren houses. In less than a week had finches nesting in one. Well made and in-expensive houses.

Nicely built and unlike most wren houses, they open to clean out.

Wren House.

The box was well made, and shipped fast, but the hole and box was too small for Carolina wrens to nest in. I had to return it.

The wren bird house was what I expected and was nicely made. It would have helped if you explained how the hanging wire mounted into the bird house from the sides versus the use of a screw at the top going into a post.

This house appears to be well made, with the appropriate features of a good bird house. It has doors that open, floor openings for drainage, ventilation openings at the top of both sides, and is made of cedar. I do recommend the product.

House Wrens love it!

Last year we had a pair of House Wrens successfully nest in a hole in the siding of our house. After the birds had left the nest we cleaned it out and repaired the hole. I bought this wren house in the fall and hung it in the same place that the hole in the siding had been using the predrilled hole on the top and a good sized wood screw. I am happy to report that this spring there is a pair of wrens (most likely the same ones as last year) nesting in the house. The only con is that you really can't check on the nest because of how the box opens. The front portion of the house swings up from the bottom so the top part of it goes into the house and disturbs the nest. Possible a better design would have been to have it swing down. It should be easy to clean out in the fall though.
