To be totally honest, I was unsure about the scent at first. I LOVE the perfume but I thought this didn’t quite capture the essence but it’s been growing on me. I think the throw is better after I burned it a number of times. It gives the space more of an ambiance and warm smell and not a “candle” smell if that makes any sense. I would definitely purchase again!

Too smoky?

I think I like the cold throw better than the hot, surprisingly. When it was lit, the house smelled incredibly smoky, and not necessarily in a good way (even though I generally like smoky smells). Some of the sweetness and spiciness gets lost when lit. In good news, no tunneling!

Boy smells Hinoki Fantome candle

I received a miniature version of the Boy smells Hinoki Fantome scented candle in the Space NK beauty advent calendar this year. I wish we had the full size! The scent seems to have mixed reviews but to me it smells beautiful, difficult to describe but there are different layers to this and it's perfect for this time of year.

Winter Wonderland

I absolutely adore this woody, winter scent. I received it in the Christmas Advent Calendar and it certainly feels very festive. I didn’t want to save it until the 25th so I have been burning it this week to get into the Christmas spirit! The packaging is very stylish too, it will look good wherever you place it too.

Love this

I absolutely love this - I've got it burning on my desk right now. It's very woody, spicy and evocative so you have to like that sort of thing. The throw is pretty good, maybe not as strong as a Dyptique candle, but neither is it mild. You definitely know that it's there without it being overpowering. My first Boy Smells candle and looking forward to exploring the range.

I love this brand, I love this candle, and I love this scent! I got these at an awesome price (during the sale) and made sure I stocked up. The scent, although rated at 5 doesn’t have a throw like my Purple Kush one - still wonderful though. The quality, not only of packaging, but ingredients is also phenomenal! If you’re on the fence just go a head and give it a shot. Experiment.

Gorgeous unique candle!

Gifted by boysmells. I’m a huge fan of boy smells candles! Their smells are so unique and I love the simplicity of the packaging! It always looks great with my home decor on my tables! This one by them is such a cool and unique smell! The notes are all very good and so well used together that you get this beautiful scent! Would totally recommend Boysmells candle to all!

Gorgeous scent

I am swooning! Ordered this based on reviews and it is wonderful! Rich and highly scented. I bought Inscensorial for a friend and he loves it, so these are now my go to candles. I can't wait to try other scents and products. I also received a sample of Petalia hand wash and lotion, so I need this as well. Great customer service and fast shipping. Thank you Boy Smells!!

Cozy up to this candle

I received the Hinoki Fantome candle from Boy Smells and already love it! There are many unique notes of this candle, including Hinoki wood and smoked amber. The warm fragrance notes immediately gives cozy vibes and I was transported to a lodge with a fireplace. Both my boyfriend and I love the fragrance, so I think they achieve the genderless fragrance goal. This candle’s scent quickly filled the room, which is appreciated since some candles take awhile The candle is made from high quality materials with a coconut and beeswax blend and a 100% cotton wick. Can’t wait to try other candles from them!

Gorgeous Candle

My first candle from Boy Smells and it didn’t disappoint. I went for this one after finding out it was one of the most popular scents - it’s beautiful. Smokey with a hint of sweet, creates a cosy atmosphere. I popped a tiny bit of foil around the candle for ten minutes, to burn some of the wax at the side but after that it was fine. The wick also formed a cauliflower, but nothing a wick trimmer wouldn’t fix. The two things mentioned wouldn’t stop me from ordering the product again, I really enjoyed this candle! I can’t wait to order more from Boy Smells, my new favourite brand.
