Amazing desk

This desk is fabulous. I love Safavieh because it's always so stylish-with a great price point. The assembly was easy. Drawers had to be removed before assembly and they were difficult to remove, like other reviews said. Only negative is the bar/stretcher along the bottom doesn't allow a chair to be pushed completely in.

Great desk.

I was looking for a simple style desk with a pop of color. This fits my needs perfectly. The color is vibrant and it was easy to assemble alone.

Cute but not functional

It is a cute desk, and I like that it is all wood, but I would not have purchased this desk if I had seen it in person first. The first desk that we received was missing a drawer track on one side. Overstock sent a replacement and sent UPS to pick up the old defective unit, but even with the new unit, the drawers are very difficult to open. If I had to do over, I would have just sent the defective unit back for a refund, but it's already been such a hassle, so we decided to just live with hard-to-close drawers.

Color is beautiful! This is pretty easy to put together, just a little tricky with the drawers being prebuilt but happy I didn’t even need to do the drawers.

Great desk!

I love this desk and it's much better quality than I expected for such a great price. My only complaint is that the directions (3 steps) are not clear and using a hex wrench is not that easy. Also, an extra pair of hands would have been great, but I did it by myself! It's a very sturdy and attractive piece!

Nice desk.

I bought this desk to coordinate with my teen daughter's nightstand. I like that it is feminine, but not too juvenile. I think she will get a lot of use out this furniture. It seems well made.

Ok not great.

The desk was ok but the wood was very grainy making it look it was made of a synthetic material. The assembly was very confusing and near impossible because it requires you squeeze your fingers behind the drawers in order to screw to the legs. I returned because I was looking for something more premium.

Looks great!

It's a perfect size as a writing desk or computer surface. I use it in the bedroom in front of the window with a nice chair as a writing desk. The drawers don't open/close easily, rather difficult to pull out. One of the pulls doesn't lay as flat as the other, but it isn't noticeable. The finish is smooth, and I love that.

Bought this for my daughter. Beautiful desk, high end looking, a fraction of the price of other stores like Ballard.
