Knives great, the block peeling paint

Disappointed. I wanted these knives because of the block. The knives are great. Super sharp. We've had them 3 weeks and the paint on the block is discoloring and peeling. Not worth the money.

Perfect knives

I’ve had my Wustof Classic knives for over 20 years and they’re still perfect. They’ve been professionally sharpened many times and are still used multiple times a week. The only negative thing I can say is I love the newer Velvet Oyster color but have no reason to replace my perfect old knives with boring black handles. They’re great knives. Get a color you can see yourself liking for 20+ years.

This is my first use of Wusthof Classic knives. After having multiple cheaper knives sets in the past. These are very durable and sharp. I added individual knives to my set of 8 and purchased a larger block. The red stickers on the handle don’t last forever. This set is about 5 years old and I put them in the dishwasher even though they don’t recommend it. Some stickers are still on and some have come off. Either way I feel they are worth it.

Beautiful Knives

Beautiful set of knives. Cut really well. I purchased the blueberry and they are really pretty knives. I honestly brought them for the looks and it is a bonus that they also cut really well:).

You get what you pay for

Why didn’t I buy these sooner. I took some flak for spending the money but after the first few uses you can truly tell the difference between the knives and lower quality products.

Knife Set "the best EVER".

Best Knife Set in the Last 40 Years!

We received the Wustof 15 piece knife set and block for a wedding present and it has been one of the most utilized things that we got. We use these knives on a daily basis. They are extremely durable, having lasted for more than 5 years and only having to be sharpened on time. They are comfortable in your hand and have different styles for your cutting needs. The kitchen shears have been essential in cutting up our children’s food into bite sized pieces. My favorite part is the block is very attractive and fits our decor perfectly!! This is the perfect set!!

I would love to know if these knives are as good as I have heard, however I still don't have them. When you say 3-5 days delivery I wouldn't think that means 3 weeks. Very unimpressed with the service so far.

These knives are amazing, and they look so pretty on the counter! Huge investment but just need to plan on keeping them sharp and I plan on passing them down for generations.

I typically don’t buy block knife sets. I have several wustof knives that I have bought individually as well as a mix of Zwilling knives. Though I do cook much more often than my elderly mother I wanted to buy her a nice set for her birthday. It’s been a little over 7 months and she still raves about this set I got her. I do have to sharpen them more often than my individual knives I’ve purchased from wustof but she absolutely loves this set and tells everyone they are the best knives she has ever known.

It’s…fine. I know in my heart that I’m supposed to hand wash these knives to make them last longer, but I’m busy. I know the laziness costs me, but it’s a real hassle to always have to treat my knives that cook basic meals the same way a celebrity chef would. I know that’s self-centered, but I suppose that’s a kitchen priority for me. Aside from the pain in the upkeep, these knives work really well and look great on the counter.

Great set of knives for any home cook, they're quality with a good weight and don't dull easily. They also don't rust either, although I only handwash mine. They are worth the price tag but even betted when on sale.

I LOVE my Wustuhf knives! I've actually owned this set for over a decade, and they are still just as amazing as day one! Their weight and precision is the best in their price point, and my kitchen would not be complete without them!
