Love it

I've used this knife multiple times a day for 8 yrs. I sharpen it with the wusthof manual sharpener about once a month and it's my go-to knife for everything from vegetables to poultry. Makes a great wedding gift 💕

Amazing Chef Knife

The 10 inch chef knife is very well balanced and just what I was looking for. I ordered it instead of settling for the 8 inch as I use a large chef knife for almost everything. This is a fabulous knife. I may get a couple more as they are built so well and stay sharp.

Beautiful well made knife

The blade is well shaped. Handle is perfectly assembled and smooth. Sharpness has not diminished since receiving the knife even with daily heavy home use. Real nice prep knife

I have all Wusthof Classic knives and the 8" Chef was a little large for small prep work and recently bought this 6" and really like it. Great for those smaller prep jobs and fits nice in your hand.

Sharp as sharks teeth

ALL Wustoff knives are sharp beyond belief. This one is no exception. We love the style and size for cutting veggies and meats. An excellent knife to fill in our collection.

Great utensil for your kitchen and cooking needs

Chef’s Carving knife

It’s Thanksgiving and I have a prob; jus’ relocated; I don’t have a carving knife! stopped in Willliams and Sonoma! Whalla! Prob solved! Thanks to the sales person who took time to assist I was able to purchase exactly what I needed.

Packaging labeled Grey, knife black

I got this knife for my husband 40th. It arrives exactly on his birthday, for it to be wrong. The packaging and everything says grey, but does not match the photo of what I ordered.

Knife perfection

I love this knife! it has perfect grip and balance and was highly recommended by American Test Kitchen, my go-to when I need a product review. The blade is very sharp and needs immediate protection. At time of purchase please recommend a knife guard. I had to go into the store.

What a dream

There is nothing better then a sharp knife! My new 8 inch Chef Knife is light, easy to use, and sharp as can be. I have been cutting celery, onions and peppers to put into freezer bags for later use. No problem with this knife. Made Hog Maw and it sliced it like butter. Thanks. Looking to get another knife next week.

Best cooking tool purchase!

Great knife, great price, beautiful colour!

My 11 year old son is a budding chef and I wanted to gift him a high quality knife (with a below average price tag) that would fit nicely in his hand. Thought it might be impossible until I found this beauty at Crate & Barrel. Perfection!

The test was rigorous

I'm a 20+ year chef. I've dropped more good knives than I'd care to admit. So I don't bring my best knives to work. I bought this thinking maybe I'd get wustoff quality a bit cheaper. Wow did I ever. I used this this for three months of heavy professional kitchen work before I ever took a steel to it. Now I just give it 2-4 swipes on the steel every few days and it's on again. I mean I use it for everything. #50 diced potatoes - filleting salmon and dicing tomatoes. It's lighter than the classic so better for the old Carple tunnel too. Really great knife.

Decisions, decisions…

I was torn between buying this German Wusthof knife or a Japanese Global knife. Online review websites put the Global at the top of the list, but friends told me that Wusthof was superior. So I took the risk and bought German.

Great Knife to Complete My Set

I purchased the Wusthof Gourmet Grey 6" Chef's Knife to complete a set. I really like the grey handled knives. They are a nice change from the typical dark wood handles you see most of the time. You really can't go wrong with Wusthof knives either. The photos on Crate & Barrel's website are an accurate depiction of the product.

Great knife with excellent service!

I purchased the Chefs Knife online and set up curbside pick up at the store. When I arrived curbside I clicked on the I’ve Arrived selection on my phone and with a few minutes a sales associate appeared with the package. The whole process was easy and very efficient. Love the new knife. Nice weight. For the price this is a great basic chopping knife for any collection.

Buy either a Global or Henckels

I received this as part of a block set. It's a few years old. I also have Global and a Zwilling Henckels Pro. The Zwilling is cheaper but my biggest complaint about the Wusthof is there lack of support. The blade chipped when I was cutting a carrot. No roll or bend, just a straight off chip. Obviously a defect. Forget about trying to get it replaced. They won't even answer. The Global is better and the Henckel is just as good and cheaper.
