[Rewarded Review] Perfect for shoe clutter.

This was a gift for my son and daughter in law. They love it. Said was easy to put together. Perfect for shoe clutter @ door. Three year old grandson loves sitting on bench for Mom or Dad to help put his shoes on!!! Win Win

It was as exactly as pictured. Very sturdy!

The price should clue you in. It lasted a year.

So, firstly in positives: it's super cute, and when it comes with the hardware, which it did on the second try, it's pretty easy to assemble.But on the negatives: The hinge and pneumatic system broke within weeks. The particle board is super cheap. I limped the chest along with a bit of glue and homemade jury-rigging, but the fact is that I have kids. Kids like to play in boxes. Kids also destroy things that aren't sturdy, and this is held together with pegs and 1/4 inch screws. It fell apart, to an irreparable level.I've learned my lesson and bought a replacement that's more expensive, and sturdier.Conclusion: If you don't have kids, and don't plan on opening this often, and are on a budget, it's a great choice.

Exactly What I Needed!

I had shoes here, there and everywhere. Closet's bottom rail left no real floor there, so needed an option. This box was it! (Can't say ch3$+?) Assembled easily, looks good, and is sturdier than expected. No issues sitting on it. Shoes here keep them out of the way yet easily accessible.

Very good deal for the price

Excellent quality for a flat-pack product. Wood feels solid, finish is very nice, and all parts attach with screws, rather than cheap nails and cardboard backing. You’ll need a Phillips screwdriver for assembly. Adequate instructions, and cushion fabric feels durable. Side shelves are adjustable, which makes it perfect for boots and other drop zone items.

Cute and functional

I bought 2 of these for benches/storage in my mud room for shoes/back packs. They were easy to assemble, sturdy upon build and look very nice. The only downside I see is the the bottom piece being thick cardboard and not real wood. For myself, it will not hold much weight so I don’t see it being an issue, personally. I worry that with only one hinge, it might begin to wobble with daily use but so far so good. For the price, you couldn’t ask for more.

Good buy for the money

Easy to assemble. You will need a power drill to put the screws in and a drill bit to form a few holes in order to put the back on with ease. Outside of that the instructions are clear & simple and can be done by 1 person. Wanted something cheap to hold some of my most frequent shoes that normally pile in front of my bed and this works great. The outside shelves let you adjust their height. The cushion comes with velcro to keep it in place. Does the job!

amazing!!!

im always one for reviews but this time it made me realize i need to stop. bad reviews are normally from people who j wanna get there money back and be rude. BUTTTTT this bench totally was amazing! my bf normally puts things together but i did this all by myself!! there were a fee screws that ones it got close to screwing all the way in it got harder to get in but i just have small muscles lol I LOVE THIS totally beat expectations and exactly what i wanted + more!

Easy to assemble, good quality shoe bench

I would definitely recommend this shoe bench. About a month ago£¬we ordered a more expensive one that was warped and had poor craftsmanship. We ended up having to return it after spending two hours trying to assemble it which was disappointing and frustrating. It was such a pleasant surprise to receive this bench after our previous experience. It was pretty easy to assemble£¬with clear instructions. We did it together but one person could do this as well. I would recommend a power drill to speed up the process but you can still assemble with just a regular screwdriver. All parts were in excellent condition and the pieces were clearly labeled. Once assembled£¬it was very sturdy to sit on and fit our shoes nicely. Highly recommend!

Good, not great.

It's as advertised£¬except for the simple assembly" as other reviewers have mentioned. The main body of the unit is easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. I'm 200 pounds and it feels solid when I sit on it. The seat is comfortable£¬although not super secure with just the 6 2"x2" velcro patches. This is fine for just the straight downward force of sitting£¬but if you use it to put on or tie a shoe it'll slide around. Finally£¬the back piece is horrible. First£¬it's actually two pieces connected together by a grooved piece of plastic which is difficult to get in place. Then£¬getting all that lined up perfectly is also difficult especially since there are no pre-drilled holes for the it's screws which are then difficult to get in straight if at all. Finally£¬the edges of the back panel are brown (not painted white like everything else) so that looks tacky. I used a white paint pen to fix that. Hope this review was helpful."

Surprisingly easy to

Surprisingly easy to put together from the pictures, which was fortunate because the instructions were written in Chinese. I assembled it flat on the floor and it took me about an hour without the aid of a drill. Once together, it is very sturdy. Although I don¡¯t use it as a bench to sit on, I did sit on it to adhere the Velcro strips to the unit. It has a firm memory foam type core. You wouldn¡¯t sit through three acts of Shakespeare, but it was comfortable enough to put your shoes on. It uses a number of wooden pegs for the center shelves, large screws for the tops, sides and bottom, and lots of small screws to hold on the back of the unit. I would buy it again and appreciate a good place to store my shoes.

Cheap and Cheerful

The VASAGLE Cubbie shoe cabinet does exactly what its designed to do, and at a reasonable price point. It ships in a flat pack, but assembled quickly with some power tools. The top cushion is reasonable, and the cubbies are actually big enough to fit a mans pair of boots(!), unlike so many others for sale. I think its a good piece for money. I do almost wish it cost a bit MORE though - and had actual wood feet, thicker shelves/wood, and a thicker pad on top - its a bit cheap looking in the photographs, and that translates in real life. No problem considering the cost, but I would have gladly paid another $20 and had a more refined/expensive looking piece of furniture.

Perfect size

This bench fits perfect at the foot of a twin sized bed. (See photo). Sturdy and Very easy to put together. My daughter prefers keeping her shoes at the foot of her bed instead of her closet because her bed is next to the bedroom door entrance. Putting this near door entrance also keeps the bedroom carpet cleaner so I decided to get this shoe storage bench and it fits perfectly at the foot of her bed. I highly recommend.

I like the

I like the fact that this shoe organizer allows for the storage of taller shoes. The slots are adjustable. So, men¡¯s shoes and boots can be stored. Other shoe organizers that I viewed were very.arrow and could only support toddler and children shoes. This one is great for my entire family. I wish that the cushion was a bit thicker just for added luxury; but, it¡¯s sufficient for the price I paid.

I love this

I love this shoe storage bench! I Have five people in my house, and even with a traditional shoe rack, shoes were piling up all over the place. I had a bench before this and it took up a lot of room. This bench is about a foot deep and therefore leaves lots of room. I don¡¯t have a mud room in the first room that you come into is my kitchen, so it¡¯s important to me that it feels open,.eat and clean. This bench checks off all the boxes for me..ot only is it sleek and pretty, but because it has individual spaces for each set of shoes,It forces my family to put their shoes away properly. I have 2 side by side. Definitely a great buy!n.
